Just wanted to share my gratitude! I paint D&D minis and just got into Warhammer and live in Texas where it’s often too hot to use spray varnish. I’ve been using your instructions to great results!

You use the wrong kind of Milliput, Standard Yellow Grey is for minature or action figure scuplting, white is for ceramics and black intended for wood iirc. What also a lot of people use for action figure sculpting is Aves Apoxie

This might have been stated but which one is good for a big figure like the hulk?

Depending on the scale, I think green stufd would be my choice…

What Brand of paint and Brushes you use
@StevieSCustoms
@StevieSCustoms 5 месяцев назад
Basically everything I can get my hands on. I love trying out new stuff… for Joes I really like Revell Aquacolor paints. I really like to paint with Broken Toad brushes, but sadly they don’t them anymore… I also love Hawk Miniatures brushes!

Every finish is either matt or glossy or something in between. Just chose what you think looks good and apply that! ☺️

Have you tried mixing any of them together yet? Apart from the usual Greenstuff+Milliput, which is good for soft edges, clothing, capes that sort of thing, although I prefer Magic Sculp from Sylcreate over Milliput usually, I'm giving Superfine White a try You can mix and match the Hardener/activator and the fillers, eg Silver from BS is the Activator and Yellow from GS is the Filler. I tried Brown+Blue the other night was pleasant to work with, long open time, and the cured sculpt is pretty hard. Will try Silver+Yellow next

Made something similar and then found this video - been worried the sand will be like sand paper on the brush - how is this holding up over time and have you started seeing brushes get damaged? Cheers

Tiny Pellets isn´t as fun as Tiny Balls! ;) Nice video man! One other ability is that Miliput is soluble with alcohol or IPA, which can be solved into a slurry that is VERY usefull to fill small moldlines!

Does this work well with joints too?
@StevieSCustoms

You should always sand joints down a bit to create room for the layers of paint. If different surfaces don't touch, they don't rub...
