On principle, Germany was to loose WW2 even before it was fought. However, the Manstein Plan gave Germany an opportunity to eventually force a stalemate with Britain… if they did not attack USSR. In fact the Stalin had no plans to attack Germany. It is German treachery of the Molotov-Ribbentrop Treaty that lost the war for Germany…. Same treachery of the Munich Treaty. Must be part of their culture.

I'm from the United States and my principles are slightly different. First let me state I am not a military professional. The principles I know from my studies are objective , offensive, mass (read concentration ), maneuver, economy of force, surprise, security, simplicity, unity of command.
