John Denver was an honest, humble and sincere gentleman who loved life, loved nature and really cared about others... I have NO doubts that this movie portrays what he was like in real life in pretty accurately! 👍

If this had been picked up to series I imagine they would have found some way to incorporate a song into every episode.

I heard this was an unsold TV pilot (no pun intended). I had a hard time at first watching this considering how John Denver passed. I did enjoy it for what it was. I would have loved to see where it would go if it was picked up as a full TV show.

George Burns once said that if God came down, looking for the nicest guy on earth, to take his place, he really would have chosen John Denver.

Seeing John Denver in a whole new light: an ass-kicking Chuck norris-style action star, while still bursting into song and being sweet and wholesome.

Boy, he and Jacques 'Cousteau would be devastated to see what our oceans look like now. Awesome singer, songwriter. Should have spent more time with his family, though. They are his most important legacy.

People heard pops from his plane. Because he ran out of gas and he could not switch to a fuller tank.

I grew up as a teen in the 70s singing John Denver's songs by the dozens. Learned to play guitar in highschool, and proceeded to study all his songs until I knew them backwards and forward. I would play and sing his songs for anyone and everyone who would listen. I sang in talent shows and when i sang it was always John Denver songs. I absolutely LOVED him. Thank you for postihg this. This was wonderful to see.
