Playing some piano-based covers of the classics and a couple of my other favorites in NJ. Check out Spotify or a live show for my originals and arrangements.
Nice to see you again Allison! This song was great with excellent lyrics and the groove was great. Parts of the song from a musical standpoint reminds me a little bit of the Jackson 5's "I want you back". Maybe it's just me projecting though. I'll be bopping my head to this for the next day or so.
Thank you so much! I've been so busy that this has been especially hard to keep up with, so your positivity makes it all worth the while for me. I'm so glad it got you groovin'!
Fleetwood Mac is a tough act to follow but you rise to the occasion time after time! Amazing how you weave together the themes. Very powerful. So glad we were able to catch this one in person too!
Fantastic! 👏 Thanks for doing such a niche song. Despite being iconic as the first video on MTV, I don't think it really aired much other than there. I didn't have cable at the time, but listened to the radio a lot throughout the '80s and actually never heard it until sometime in the last 10 yrs (!). And since piano is your forte ;) you might check out a nice piano-only rendition on Anne Dudley Plays the Art of Noise, if you haven't heard it yet.
hii! i really love this version and have been looking for months for a piano tutorial. May I request that you make a tutorial for your version? Thank you! 😁
It is so sad to see you shoehorned between the ATM and the brunch sign!!! 🙁 But you triumphed in the face of adversity!!! 😃 This was the one I mentioned that says Daymark but I think it is somewhere else.
This song is so whimsical it always makes me smile. Great job, especially conveying the slight unhinged-ness of the protagonist! :) Another fun song is Mungo Jerry's "In the Summertime", if you might consider it some time. You already have those cans to shake for the shuffling beat!
I've been listening to ELO for 40+ years now. This is my new favorite cover of Evil Woman. Great jazzy voice as the song intends. Love the setting too, old time small tile floor, etc. The final bonus is the two guys in the back having a conversation I wish I could be privy to. 😂😂
