That is a true museum piece. How lucky to have it. What fun to see it run. That was amazingly fast then. Ingenious guy who made it and it has lasted running this long. It looks in great condition.
I'm lucky enough to know someone who has two pre war Riley 9's one being a Lynx the other a Monaco fantastic little cars , very over enginerred for the time that 1.5 liter double over head canshaft hemispherical engine is a work of art
I love the engine and work you've obviously put in to making your bike! The only thing that bothers me is that you are running directly on to the tyre! I had a 'Trojan' cycle motor that used the same method. I found that the tyres were ruined after about 10miles! I'm sure, that with your clear skills that you are able to design a belt drive and clutch, so that you don't eat your tyres on every outing! Best wishes, J
