Hi, My name is Blake! On this channel I make videos of my hobbies which is lawn care and car related things! Hope you guys enjoy the content and don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe!
Got tboned in my 2005 stx when she had over 200k. Never changed anything except fluids. Tires and brakes. The 99 f150 had 300k when we sold it a few years ago. My first vehicle was a 94 Ford ranger and i sold it when I was twenty with god knows how many miles an saw it on the road another ten years! Moral of the story... Ford! 💯
I’m experiencing the same issue on a 2023 F150 Max trailer tow package with 3,000 miles on the truck! I’m Just wonder is it safe to drive it to the dealership?
Looks just like my 2014 and I now have a little over 320k and it’s still awesome! I’ve had rear main seal replaced, front hub bearings, rear axle bearings and seals. Still runs strong, no oil burning or leaking, original transmission and differential, everything works. I’m the original owner.
Hold on there. I learned the hard way on my Mustang GT wheels to not use the same brush that I scrubbed my tires with. I evidently drug some sand from the tires to the wheels and scratched the black painted coating. Buy a nice wheel wooly brush and keep it in a clean rinse bucket. At least rinse your brush before moving it from muddy tires to the black paint on the wheels. I have that same pump sprayer. It’s awesome.
2011-2014 5.0 vs 2015-2017 5.0. Is the aluminum truck really better? Has someone owned both to have a first hand opinion? Can get the last of the steel bodies for a pretty good price now.
Also experienced the recall on my 2022 F150 XLT with the max tow. Dealer was rotating the tires and saw the fluid on the hub. When he removed the cap saw that the bolt sheared off on the right hub. Both rear axles are replaced. Here is a kicker, the recall does not cover having a paid for loaner from the dealer! Luckily we were at my daughters house but come on FORD. We were a Honda family and never in 40+years experienced this poor engineering design...So do we keep it until the warranty is about to expire??????
It will work but it takes time! My lawn used to look just like the one in this video back in 2020 but after being on top of fertilizing it it made it look better! Hopefully you’ll have better luck with your lawn because it’s possible for results to happen faster
Finally ; a video on a Ford pickup with some miles on it ! Most of the videos are telling us how great 2022 F150’s with 15000 miles are; big deal. Well for 50k they should be great. For me the new eco boost Fords are overpriced turds that will never see 150k miles without major issues . Sad how far Ford has fallen just to kiss the feet of a federal government who will subsidize EV vehicles that are garbage grocery retrievers.
My 2021 Ford F-150 with 30k miles Just started doing this Sounded like a scratchy grinding noise from the rear right hub Took it to the dealership and they are working on getting the parts
Tailgate hard to open? There is a five minute fix, check youtube. Basically reset the plastic clips on the metal rods. I own the exactly same truck with the 302a package since new. Excellent truck. The 5.0 liter with the six speed for the truck years 2012 to 2017 make excellent used trucks.
I just had mine done, grinding, whining noise on the rear right. I too recorded it, When I told the dealer I didn't feel safe driving it they didn't take me seriously until they inspected it, and all of the sudden, Oh no, you can't drive it. Also, since is a Ford recall they did replace both axles. Found your video very informative. Thank You.
Quick question....where you also experiencing a "clunk" noise when shifting from forward to reverse? I have a '23 2wd STX non max-tow...but out of no where I started getting a clunk when shifting into reverse...Thanks in advance Edit - My truck only has 4000 miles on it...I also have the 2.7 and have horrible waste gate flapper rattle on a cold start...also,3 pieces of glass with factory defects..
i had 23 F 150 xlt, v8, had a engine light on and parking parking sensor warning light on (this issue can not be solved as dealer said this is not stored coded, so come back until a specific code shows up not a waning message). It was very disappointed about FORD
Hi I am test driving a 2023 XLT power boost, its ok not sold on it yet. One very odd thing is that it has a beep when you reverse sounds like a school bus or dump trump. Like literally beeps until you are out of reverse what the hell is the about?! That may be the deal breaker.
Yeah I know exactly what sound you’re talking about! I don’t know why but mine doesn’t make that sound but I always see F-150’s identical to mine that do exactly that!
I have that same 2014 crew cab 4x4 truck but in the tuxedo black Platinum package. It too has the 5.0L V8 but with 105,000 miles. (I don't drive much anymore.) On the highway, it regularly gets 20 to 22 MPH but drops to 12 MPH when pulling our 23' KZ bumper-pull RV. The only problem I have had is the AC required charging this past summer. where it had the noisy high speed radiator fans running all the time. It's been a great truck. We're a F150 family as my wife has a 2012 F150 XLT (vermillion red, 5.0,L 4x4, crew cab). About the same miles as mine. It's also been a great truck.
I own 2014 xlt ecoboost. I sure have enjoyed the truck as well. There hasnt been alot of information on upgrades or aftermarket products. Thanks for the vid 😊
Got a 2014 xlt Texas Ed. 3rd. OWNER all black. 82.ooo now has152.000. 3.5 excellent truck, change oil every 4500 miles. No problems, drive it from Oklahoma to Arizona quite a bit. Thanks for your vid.😊
Sounds more like an IWE problem tbh. A racheting type sound usually indicates the IWE is partially engaging the 4x4 at the hub and is pretty common on f150s. Mainly if you have a vacuum leak intended to actuate the hub.
AND the 2024's have the VERY SAME Issue!!! Unfortunately ........ I just got the RECALL on my 2022 F-150 on Jan 2024. My F-150 LARIAT MAX TOW FX4 Package on this Very Issue!!! I'am on my 4th RECALL NOW???? $87,000.00 for this TRUCK on June 18th 2022. Ya, you saw the PRICE Correctly!!!!
Yeah when I got the recall notice it only said 2021-2023 but I’m not surprised that it’s happening on the 2024s now! I’m sorry to hear about what you went through but hopefully you got it taken care of!
@@aladin_ko Type in Eric Enriquez, and he has a 2024 F-150 that has had this Issue already and Just got repaired and is Awaiting further Notice from F O R D on what's NEXT to actually FIX the Problem.
