Loved them as a child in the 60s. Love them now. Levi had such an infectious smile and a voice for the ages. Makes me sad when I think of how many greats we have lost over the years.

Always wished the ending of the vocal side could have gone on a bit longer. Doing that and then mixing in some of the instrumentation as it fades makes it work very well.
Best summertime song ever! Especially on Saturday mornings. My dad owned a diner in Middleboro Mass back in the 60’s. He had juke box selections in the booths. I always put a purple quarter in it and played this song. This song also takes me back the beach days. I’m 67 and will always play it and never get tired of it.
