Mam, as you are research scholar at bits so only you can give honest opinion that overall bits pilani( including all campuses) is good for phd or not? As it is a private institute so i was confused...plz tell us mam
What is the fees per annum including hostel & mess?? On there website it is around 1 lakh & it is more than 1.5 lakh in one of there fees pdf. PLEASE REPLY

Recently they have established placement committee for the PhD students. But if you want to go for postdocs after your phd then it is your responsibility to find that. You can ask for recommendation letter from your supervisor or co-supervisor.

alteast your lab r&d will aid you for publication of papers..... I just joined a pnd in mgmt prog and realised that theoritical writeups regarding decision making in companies cant be research articles joining pe motivation was at skies and now sab hawa hawa... all the best to you scholar.
If you are just starting then you can always shift to some other place if you don't like anything over here.. it's upto you actually.. if you are content with everything else then all the best for your PhD journey..👍
Ma'am few more questions... What are the broader areas or rather dominant areas through which questions are asked in the PhD written test in biological sciences? Also, is it compulsory to take CV with us and as we are not taking our research proposal with us , so will they give some time to decide upon the ongoing projects what we like to join?
Questions can come from anywhere.. as this department works on every aspect of biology so you can't specify on anything.. and it's always better to carry your CV.. even if it's not required
Ma'am I have my phd entrance ( management dept) exam tomorrow. I have few doubts.. please consider clarifying the same.. 1. In the brochure it is mentioned that the written examwill be conducted and based on the scores of the written exam..the shortlisted students will be interviewed ..so my query is - they will declare the result of the written test on the same day n then conduct the interview or they will post the result of the written test on the website n give date for the interview.. 2. If someone has weak eyesight.. will it be an issue for admission..
Mostly the written test and interview happens on the same day.. only if the number of applicants become a bit overwhelming then it might get carried on to the next day.. but I have never seen that happening.. and your eye sight won't be an issue.. I also happen poor eyesight..
Ma'am in the instructions its given that on 21st May ,a two stage written test would be conducted , so based on the scores of written test , the interview will be conducted for qualifying candidates on the same or the other day or it will just be conducted and a cumulative score of written test and interview would be used to select the candidates??
Two rounds of selection will be there.. based on your written score candidates will be selected and then interview round will be conducted.. those who will qualify in the interview round as well will get the admission offer letter..

The interview and admission test of all campus occurs separately.. if you are planning to attend interview for more than one campus then there are chances of you to get in more than one campuses as well..
Hi di I got shortlisted for BITS examination to be held on 21st May , Di please tell me like do I have to stay there for two days? Or examination will be done in one day only, and accommodation with parents in guest house is available or not? Exam difficulty level and all please guide di, I am quite nervous
You might have to come a day early.. but the exams will be done in a day only. There will be too much rush for the guest house.. you can also stay outside the campus with your parents.. written exam is almost similar to csir.. prepare everything.. that will be better.. all the best👍
If you have done dissertation in your masters then you might expect questions on that and you should have knowledge on how to apply different techniques in research.. you must know how to apply your theoretical knowledge in your research..
In this department there are many high throughput instruments which you can use for your research.. find collaborations with other departmsnts as well if you want and can freely play around with your work.. the main thing is you should know what intrigues you and what is your actual field of interest for research.

Mam if it's possible can i contact you by any means.??? It will be very helpful. Actually, I am preparing for csir net. Still not qualified JRF. I live in kolkata. So going Hyderabad before CSIR exam.. It will cost me 5 to 6 days. Will it be worthy to go for giving BITS exam in hyderabad. Or should I pursue my preparation for JUNE CSIR exam with priority. Mam please if possible.. Allow me to contact you personally if it's possible.
@@smitadey23 Mam, my research interest is Cancer and drug delivery to only cancer areas. How to invade Tumor Micro environment and all. But, I am not much skilled in lab works yet. So if got chance in BITS. 1. Is there any guide working in this area? 2. Will they help me develop practical skills. 3. HOW is the Lab? 4. As you mentioned all instruments are available. It's good mam. 5. How much we need to pay?
