I can hear small cracking sounds on my old fernando stratocaster so I am scared of adjusting it but it has fretbuzz on the first fret 😭😭😭. I am scared of turning it because even the slightest turn cause some cracking noises
Fret Wraps usually look nicer with a nice matching head wrap like this guy's wearing see? One should look one's best while playing and that sometimes means Accessorizing, no?
bro to be honest man, this chrysocola color is the best j custom color, because it really matches the pearl tree of life inlays : ] because the pearl has the same color in it. At first I wanted royal blue sapphire but im glad I got the chrysocola love it. To be honest man, what I do to my j custom after playing I completely wipe it down after playing, I wipe the back of the neck and the bottom part, I wipe the trem, the tuners after tuning, the pickup coils, after 1 year it looks brand new. to be honest its a hassle, but its worth it. I wish I did that with my jem 7v to be honest, but I still kept it pretty clean, but now I also know to always wipe down the guitars after playing. My next target might be an ibanez pia and now I know how to keep it clean, but that wont be for a long time. cheers! love the channel you have an amazing collection man!
thank you so much for your experience! Since I bought the Jem I vipe the guitars off after playing. The j.custom is my working horse and it became more individual with that unclean pieces but you´re right, always care about your equipment. The Pia is also a lovely guitar - go for it!
I have seen many people using this but never investigated about it. 10 minutes ago i finally heard someone talking about the fretwrap (I didn't even know the name of this lol) and after watching this video, i can say that i am grateful for not investigating earlier in my journey, currently I feel very confident with palm muting and that has to be because I didn't get any help from this tool
Bizarre..... I just bought a foot rest, adjusted my strap exactly as yours for the same reasons and your video popped up in my recommendations! Either way good information brother!
Cool vid… I never knew about the radius thing with saddles or about changing intonation. My guitar teacher set my guitar up years ago so was always scared to try myself but now it doesn’t look too bad to do. 👍🏻
One of the biggest problems with all the digital modellers etc. is, that many people don't tweak their sounds to the speaker system on the specific venue. They just make some presets at home and send it as a DI to the FOH no matter what speaker system it is. I have yet to experience an impressive and organic live guitar sound with any of the modellers. The modellers are also lacking in harmonic content due to digital processing. I have both Fractal and Neural DSP but always ends up with bringing my big pedalboard and tube amp to concerts.
yah that´s true, I love to practice and play with my kemper but it always feels like there must be a secret on how to feel like playing a tube amp. I think it´s a great opportunity but it can´t replace the good old tube
Any reason that you clip the little washers of the strings rather than introduce them through the machine head using the clipped end? I always find manual clipping causes the core to slip inside the E A and D then creates a weakness.
That´s a very good question. Basically I don´t like the optic of ball ends on the wires of the mechanics. I did it hundreds of times like I showed in this video and there was never an issue with it.
thank you, now you can imagine how I practice the song "nothing is lost" from Marco Sfogli. I began to learn it in february and I still can´t play through the whole song
oh yahhh i can remember how badly I wanted that guitar and believe me, the day I bought it I stopped buying new guitars over and over. If it´s possible for you - buy it soon!
almost! it is a grg 121dx - my car-guitar here is the link to the video about this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-637HEidBNWI.html
After the guitar is tuned up. I'd suggest removing that ZPS bar cus that thing wont let the trem flutter like a normal Edge does. Also the dive bombs are harder to perform with that thing on.
Hi, theoretically I have the speed for it but it´s a damm hard song. I think if I train the riffs for half a year I would be able to pick it. For the moment I never learned that song and have no muscle memory for it :)
Trying to cleanly alternate pick this at a fast speed is killing me: G ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------15------------15--16~ D -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------13-----------13--14------13--14--16--13--14--16 / 18--14--16--18-------16--18 A ------------------------------------13----------13--14------13--14--16--13--14--16------14--16----------16------------------------ E 13--14--16--13--14--16------14--16----------16------------------------
oh yahh this feels hard because of the pinky-action; may you filter out the harder parts first and isolate them for quite some time. later on you can combine it with the first 6 notes and then it will be easier to play. Take your time and then you´ll see improvements!
@@austrianpickingpower I’m being tripped up by the single-note string change. For instance the 8th note in the sequence. Jumping back to the low-E strinf on an up stroke. 💀 I always end up hitting the A string again on my way back.
