The only wrestling i could get on TV was WWWF. We're talking the 60s and 70s. When cable came along i could get WCCW or something like that. Absolutely horrible compared to WWWF. I guess i was spoiled because nothing was compared to WWWF at the time.
Ahhh i think he was done when he realised i can Date a normal looking human being thats the daughters boss of the company ive wanted to work for since i was 6 years old. Im pretty sure he made the right choice. But RIP chyna
@@singer4badalley Sorry to hear we do not do regular shoot interviews i recommend check out later interviews you may change your mind if not we appreciate you comments
It doesnt take much water to drown, or hydroplane. I was driving to work one day, and it was pouring down. I hit a puddle of water, literally going 20 mph and hyrdoplaned. But i regained control and shook it off.
Ace had a boxing match against Mr T, and in the dressing room after the match, T was huffing and puffing and was blown up, but Cowboy Bob was relaxing and having a smoke 😂
Growing Up In Florida, I Always Enjoyed Listening To Gordon Solie Call The Matches Because He Made You Believe Everything Was Real And Kept You On The Edge Of Your Seat When Championship Wrestling From Florida Was On TV.
Great to see your interview with Animal. Thank you! As an East Coast guy, I wasn’t as close to it as a lot of people. But as a diehard wrestling fan, I definitely watched it on ESPN as he mentioned. A lot of the established talent was really old. But they had some really good younger talent coming up, with Scott Hall, Curt Hennig, the Road Warriors, the Long Riders, Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin, etc. The stuff that got me in terms of how disconnected Verne was are not having cable in his house because he was too cheap to pay for television, and trying to overrule his office on calling Sean Michaels and Marty Jannetty the Midnight Rockers. The latter were an obvious ripoff name of the Midnight Express and the Rock and Roll Express, yet Verne thought young people wouldn’t buy it because they’d equate it to old people and rocking chairs. The world just passed Verne by. And thank you, again
Loved when Gordon would get a 'phone call' and would completely sell it with an ultra serious face. He would then turn to the audience and state that he was on the phone with NWA President Bob Geigel regarding the status of Kevin Sullivan's suspension. Epic stuff...
David sammartino is a piece of garbage. Ungrateful angry resentful. He disgraces the sammartino name and legacy. Bruno refused to talk to him for decades. He is a real piece of shi$
@@bobbylopez991 We appetciate your comments It sounds like you're referring to two separate issues involving accusations related to stolen valor and possibly someone not reporting crimes despite having knowledge of them. In cases like these, it's essential to distinguish between the individuals involved and the specific allegations. If Fernandez served, then accusations of stolen valor may not apply, but if questions arise about how he represented his service, that could be a separate issue. As for the second individual, if they admitted to knowing about crimes and failed to report them, there could indeed be legal and ethical concerns. It sounds like there may be an underlying agenda or motive driving how these issues are being portrayed or investigated, which could affect public perception. If you have more details or specific cases in mind, I can help clarify further.
@@montethepharaohli1prowrestlingFernandez has claimed to be a seal on numerous occasions including on your program. His military records have been verified, he in fact served but not in Vietnam or as a Navy Seal. Verified by Navy Seal Senior Chief Don Shipley. He can be emailed if any further information is needed. As far as Rita and Mario Mancini goes, Mario did not actually witness the crime. It is verified by numerous sources that Rita herself has acknowledged on many occasions before and after the settlement that she told Mario about what occurred back then.
In life people react to situations in different ways. No disrespect to anyones views but no one should say how anyone should react. In all fairness you were not there. Im sure Mario had his reasons for his reaction and I'm sure they were good reasons. Furthermore, the disrespect shown to Mr. Mancini is disgusting. Really no need for that guys.
We agree ok your comment to the way people react which is fair but then why talk about it 20 years later like your a hero ? that is the issue . We thank you for your respectful comment
Wow two guys that never been in the business hating on a guy for no real valid reason thats been in the business for years all over assumptions and emotions, this is all you got for your podcast? Thats pretty lame
@@ianbazzano9281 appreciate the feedback but did you listen this is not about mancinis wrestling We initially thought Mario Mancini was a harmless personality who added some color to a show. However, things took a turn when he started bringing up his grievances with Rita Charlton and escalating his attacks on Justin. It’s become clear that every time he’s is on a show he ends up passing judgment on others, often harshly. What's ironic is that the very traits he criticizes in other people are exactly the ones he exhibits himself. Instead of offering genuine insights or constructive dialogue, Mancini seems more interested in pointing fingers and deflecting from his own shortcomings. It’s disappointing because we thought when ge was welcomed onto the other platforms expecting a different kind of contribution. Instead, he’s consistently used it as a place to stir up drama and cast stones from his own glass house. It’s time to reconsider whether this behavior aligns with the values we want to uphold.
I love you guys & have since I got whiff during covid but this is the only time I have to (mainly disagree) with you. I honestly think mario is a legit honest dude with several years of tales been a jobber for top stars & spending plenty enough time in the dressing room with those guys et al.
