Awesome video! how do you get that report with the percentages of each step? (add to cart %, reached checout %... and so on) I found the online store conversion over time report from shopify but it doesnt show percentages for each item and also doesnt show the summarized totals of each one. instead shows all the detail of every day and at the top the total of the date range you select.
@@javl40 that’s a great question it’s not actually inside of Shopify you have to go and calculate it yourself You can just use a simple percentage calculator by googling percentage calculator or you can just use a Google sheet and that way as well
I took a quick look at my current Flexible Ads, and the Post with comments for me always combines the First Uploaded Image, First Primary Text, and First Headline. Three from three - never the second or third image or second headline or primary text. That can't be just a coincidence?? Surely you've seen Post IDs that combined differently for you?
If I have creative that fit for 1080x1920, but not to 1080x1080, am I supposed to upload the two exact same creatives with the different sizes? Because in flexible and dct we haven’t the option to make replace like in original option… So my point is how can we adapt the creative for reels and for post sizes?
@@user-zh2mx2yq3p you definitely need to make sure when you upload 1080x1350 that you consider the subtitles on the video. you can run reels/videos at 9x16 but we always go 4:5 majority of the time

What Facebook wants you to do now is basically consolidate everything into one campaign & one adset. So the new strategy moving forward will likely be: 1x campaign 2x ad sets (1 for winning post IDs + 1 for testing flexible ads) And then at the Ad level, you will simply setup NEW Flexible ads in the "Testing" ad set and then put any winners in the "winning" ad set. Or at least that is the strategy we will be following when DCTs are fully removed.
@@spencerpawliw Thank you for your answer, how many flexible ADs would you put in an adset to test new things? Is there a maximum limit? That you can test there e.g. 3x different videos in one adset or how do you do that I'm really overwhelmed 😂
@@spencerpawliw very interesting approach, Spencer. I'm 50% tempeted to use a structure like that you've mentioned as well, the only thing is everytime you add a new Flexible Ad in the Ad Set it will restart the Learning Phase (which wouldn't happen if you added the Flexible Ad in a new ad set, as you know). Thanks for the video.

Thank you for the valuable info, but one question, I am shipping from australia and my main market is US which costs $30 (AUD) to ship, would free shipping be viable in this scenario if I only profit $19?
It could be, depending on your acquisition platform. But you likely will need to up your price to cover the cost of shipping. Or you will need to just charge a base rate. Shipping internationally is not really ideal.
Depends on your product price point. But the minimum we would ever recommend starting a budget is 2-3x their target CPA So if your product is $100 and you want to get customers for $30 (meaning your target CPS = $30) We'd recommend starting the budget at $60 - $90 per day in budget
@@spencerpawliw Sorry just another question, in the CBO camp structure with the DCT adsets and winning creatives in their own adset, do you ever see the DCT adsets getting no spend?
@@seamossian All the time man. Just means the ads weren't good enough unfortunately. You can set a minimum spend if you want but, just means the ads aren't great.
@@spencerpawliw right right makes sense, I may be wrong, but as I started the camp with one of my winning ads in the champion adset I don’t think it’s given the chance to the DCT adsets, the winning creative is in another camp (same post ID) do you think it would be worth turning off the champion adset for now just to see?
Hey Spencer, I sell tanning oil, would you recommend also doing broad campaign just like you showed in the video or would you recommend do interest targeting?
Yes! Would definitely go broad. Remember Targeting is done by the creative. If you want to test interests, you can, but I would focus more on the creative to target your ideal customer. Ask yourself what they want, what is their main problem, how does your product help it.
@@spencerpawliw Tried going broad with winning creatives that I had on interests ad sets and broad targeting not even breakingeven for me so far so not sure if broad is best approach
Thank you Spencer! I saw in your last videos that you really do recommend on intelligems for a/b testing, and I thought to myself: What is the problem of doing a/b through Facebook? You can create copy of same product page, change the one element you want, past the two different urls and test it for free.. Am I missing something?
Yes you totally can. Just make sure you think through the entire customer journey. An ad to an advertorial is typically a little bit different than one to the PDP.
Hey Spencer, another great video! Is it possible to get access to the doc at point #11? Also, have you ever worked with stores in the health niche for older demographics? Thank you
@@spencerpawliwI just joined the free community and was trying to use to type in the google doc link from the video. I will check if I can find the link in the community. Thanks!
Hey Spencer, do you have a break down of your email sequence / flow that you use typically on OpenSend? I want to sign up (from your url) but kind of wanted a sequence that’s tested and proven.
Hey Joel, we don't do any retention so I don't have a flow for you to steal. But Open Send does have best practice flows for you on their website and have a great support team to guide you on it.
@@spencerpawliw Sorry meant if you were an agency and have clients how would you communicate to the client you are going to get UGC content do you have the client just send to an address or do you have them on the platform as well?
Hi Spencer , thank you for the gems u're dropping ❤🔥 Quick question : I'm actually running a business in Saudi Arabia, and as you know, Facebook has less data here compared to the US or EU. So, I'm wondering if it's still possible to use these methods?
