It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on ESA standard 3402 Contact Engagement and Separation Force testing. I worked for a Smiths Group contractor for two decades and in that time never carried out the test, rather Quality Assurance would make up random test values that fitted a range the end-user would expect. All of these some two decades of components are now in orbit. I would mention the falsification of time-dependant 168-hour burn-in to thin-film resistors but that isn't part of this application and them many, many more forging methodologies taken by QA (not to mention Test engineers) at that organization.
It's all a bit rich when it's well known some most all Smiths Group companies work in a toxic atmosphere when say a small nick with a scalpel blade during manufacturing processes will be investigated to see if improvements could be made such as a retractable blade but long term sickness and abscence due to inept inattentive incompetent management practices are seen as a hazard of the job. 3:15 Nice quality of camera Ms President. :O
Personally, I wouldn't trust any of your products in my car nevermind satellite or medical equipment. Do you actually test the products? I've heard stories of offsets put on analyzer test equipment to make a compliant result, tests just not carried out falsified with made up random data such as Contact Engagement and Separation Forces (See ESA 3402 5.2.1), no burn-in carried out on thin-film resistors with the dates just forged by QA themselves or supervision, no Robustness of Termination test for two decades. A culture of intimidation where anyone raising concerns is them mob bullied out of your organization. work environments that have poorly organized production methodology. Bullying in general results in demotivation, disloyalty, ill-health, high sickness absence, high staff turnover, an us-and-them culture, low productivity, frequent mistakes, low morale, non-existent team spirit, poor customer service, no continuity of customer care & ultimately....... company closure. Unfortunately, fighting for ethicality against the corporate corruption usually results in expulsion from the organization, leaving your aggressors, fellow management & directors to carry with their criminality and lives, unaffected, undeterred, in the luxury they have become accustomed to. I wouldn't hire a woman personally, in general, they can't think objectively and visualize 3D situations they are emotional creatures programmed to care and nurture whereas man has been programmed to think of strategies to provide food and engineer shelter for their offspring. And if QA are threatened with dismissal if trying to work to the design specified then you're up Shit Creek without a paddle.
