Daily Recordings of my guitar practice sessions. Not everyday is perfect, but we aim for progress.
I needed a place to store videos of my practice, and my mobile device did not have enough space. I started playing seriously in December 2020, thanks covid. At least something positive can come from the terrible. I am no super star guitar player, just an average guy having a good time playing every day. This is my personal record.
I changed the tubes to a new matching set. The "problem" persists. Amp is a 2018 model, not that old to be replacing caps. I think it is just the design of the power supply in this circuit. My Positive Grid Spark amp has a modelled version of an AC30, and it has the same noise when selected.
I’ve literally just changed the filter caps in my AC30CC2 tonight for the same noise (apart from mine being 100hz hum instead of 120 as we have 50hz mains here). Not finished putting the pcb back in yet so I’ll be testing tomorrow.
Let me know how it goes. I bridged an extra cap across the first filter cap in the circuit, and it helped, but the amp isn't that old (~5yrs). How old is your amp?
A little, if you are new to fingerstyle.. I show the tabs at the beginning of last weeks video. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xmP8wHG3AGQ.html
