Good video. I repaired this pump for a friend. @1:17 the cylinder caps are removed effortlessly by hand. The caps are pressed on by force in the factory. To remove a cap, secure the cylinder in a vice then give the cap a good whack using a hammer and large flathead screwdriver. Rotate 180° then whack it again. These pumps have a one-way check valve, so they're designed to hold pressure. Use soapy bubbles test to detect air leaks - water immersion test as a last resort.
