From what I understand, remapping aims to achieve better results compared to the stock settings. Essentially, you're targeting improved performance, so it's puzzling why some people still believe that this always involves compromises. I mean, who thinks that way? Unless the remap was done incorrectly or by someone inexperienced, there shouldn't be an issue. If you're familiar with SpeedLab and have been following their videos (and truly grasp what they're explaining), then it's not hard to trust what they do. Peace out!
Good morning. Would like to inquire if a gen 1 starex (2002 model/diesel) can be remapped directly to the ECU? Or would it need Unichip for it to be remapped?
Tanong lang po bakit po yung mga na remmaped na sasakyan mausok na ?? Halimbawa i have innova 2.5 diesel engine. Kahit pigain ko wla man masyadong usok pero yung na remmaped na innova ng kapit bahay namin ang usok ang itim pa .

Any check engine lights? since Catalytic converter is removed, how 2nd o2 sensor is satisfied? or does this car does not have 2nd O2 sensor to check catalytic converter?
K & N air filter less filtering yan kesa sa stock so mangyayari mas madali na makakapasok ang dust sa loob ng combustion kaya sobrang delikado. Ang stock air filter na nakakabit ay ang pinaka dbest kc iyan ang recommended ayun sa gumawa ng makina or yung mga engineer nila.. If mag research tayu sa internet youtube etc dami na pong mga evidences na mas napadali ang pagkasira ng makina dahil sa high flow air filter like K & N regardless of frequent maintenance of the filter
Is this a D16W9? I know some markets received a D16 which was essentially built like the oddball D17s we got in the 7th gen civic in the US, and so none of the normal D16 mods are compatible. The W9 is interesting because it had the 3-stage VTEC with both 12 valve operation and an upper cam profile, where even the D17A2 VTEC just had the 12 valve operation so the mad scientist in me wants to slap a W9 head and ECU on a D17 and see if it helps any.

After remap what will happen to the eco / power mode of Toyota SUV / Pickup? 1. Are they still functional? 2. is ECO / POWER Mode based on the existing power after remap or it will based on the stock power?
