I’m definitely making it a plan to reread DOS series in 2025 too. Can’t wait to see what video you’re filming! I wish I could plan ahead and stop procrastinating 😂
I LOVE DAUGHTER OF NO WORLDS BY CARISSA BROADBENT 💜💜💜💜 Highly recommend that book! 🥰 For October so far I'm going to be reading Phantasma. I got it the other day and heard nothing but great things about it! 👀🍂📖
Also wanting to tackle Priory and the Orange Tree and the prequel! Its been on my bookshelf for an embarrassingly long time, l’ll plan to read in November too!
Shamelessly read my books and switch to audible occasionally at home without earbuds. Does my husband hear? Yes, do I care? No, am I ever embarrassed by my books, nope!
I'm sorry but I think she's misapplying the word "smut" here. The book she's describing is "romance" if you have to wait 700 pages before you get to the sex scene.
we can all learn something new today: the definition of smut (in the bookish context) is actually just “A story, usually a book or a fan fiction, that includes one or more sexually explicit scenes.” an “erotic” book would have the WHOLE plot based around the “smut” - when usually “smut” is just a different word for “s*x” so, even if a book has 700 pages & 1 smutty scene, it still classifies as smut.
Okay! I keep seeing these YA books nonstop. Both The Prison Healer and Lightlark....maybe it's a sign that I should read them, no? Lol! 😂 Thanks for sharing! 🖤 Happy spooky season girly! 👻📖🍂🎃🕯🥀🍁
@@MadiCovington yeah I'm thinking adding them to my November reads though I keep seeing not only those two books but lately "Bonesmith" by Nicki Pau Preto as well. I got recommended for this book several times now and will squeeze it in for October, it just sounds like the perfect read for this month 😉
I’m so glad you enjoyed Forgotten Beasts of Eld!!! ❤ Thank you for reading it 🥰 Can’t wait to see what you choose for October! I’m planning on reading Nocticadia after I finish a series I’m halfway through (The Queen’s Court by Wanda Swan; not amazing, but scratches the “hot dragon-shifter” itch 😆 so if you need that in your life, I recommend). 15:53 omg I laughed out loud 😆🤣🤣
me just giggling at 23:33 and so excited that I know have now read The Gilded Cage too... I just ordered The Blood Traitor today and will be reading it soon! So excited!
So glad Firefly Lane was a 5-star read for you too! I also cried while reading it, as I do with most Kristin Hannah books (the Nightingale also destroyed me) 🥲
Hidden pictures is a great book. Definitely had me spooked . If you like this book check out the silent patient. This book was a great mystery and the ending blew me away.
i think i’ll try rereading it! i listened to the audiobook… which is where i went wrong. i didn’t love the narrator & about 20% in had to stop. but i think physically reading it would be waaaay better. i’ll give it another try one day! & i think about the Green Bone Saga at least once a day… love that series.
@MadiCovington I feel that. I'm really picky with audio books and if I feel the narration is even just a little off, it's impossible to listen to. I hope you end up liking it better if you end up doing a reread! That's funny I'm reading the first book of that series right now! About 150 pages in and it's a little confusing trying to remember everyone's name but I am enjoying it and it sounds like the books get better and better as they go on.
Almost positive the two little plates you got are from miniature decorative tea sets! Hit my nostalgic feels when you held them up! My grandma had full shelves of those, little mini tea cups and everything that would sit on those cute plates. Love the idea of hanging up them…definitely stealing that and will hang up the few I still have from her🥹❤️ also loved this video!😊
I like how Tessa Bailey writes her cute romance books :) I loved It Happened One Summer and I'm currently reading Hook, Line, and Sinker! I almost got discouraged by goodreads but they are worth reading to me
Most romantasy books actually are high fantasy. Game of thrones and Lord of the rings... those are all epic fantasy's the main difference being the huge world with many different perspectives and politics etc. epic fantasy is great but not really for those new to fantasy. Mistborn is a great start into epic fantasy which you can then follow up with stormlight archive.
I have a great recommendation for you: Ella & Bloom romance book by Catherine Nash. It’s based on a true story with a bit of steamy / spicy stuff! Just pure class! The Notebook meets Fifty Shades of Grey! ⭐️📖
I'm 43 and I still only use concealer. haha! Minimal makeup for the win. I really need to read Book of A. I keep getting reminded to read it. And I'm so jealous you have Goodwill...I miss it so much living abroad.
