Flutist, pianist, composer, arranger, conductor and educator Dominique Gagné is based in Brooklyn, NY. She especially loves playing Brazilian and Latin jazz as well as English Country Dance, Contradance music, the blues, early jazz and standards. A regular flutist with NYC-based Os Clavelitos, and a sometimes pianist for Gotham Easy, Spanglish Fly and also ballet and modern classes at Hunter College, Mark Morris Dance, Rioult Dance Center, Alden Moves Dance Theater and the 92nd St. Y. As an educator, Dominique has over twenty years experience teaching everything from private lessons to early childhood classes in world music at the Brooklyn Children Museum to Honors level 'Lively Arts' classes for undergrads at UMass Amherst. Dominique currently teaches private flute, piano and voice lessons and is a Teaching Artist for the 92nd St Y and Little Orchestra Society.
