Not to mention game wise, if the lions attacked a stronger being (lets give them like 1750 for the leogun card) they'd just die without doing anything. So overwhelming isn't a strategy that would work.
My favorite is the Feindsmith Engraver …it says imma DMC fan I’m $$$tylish and I take care of my hygiene…meaning I don’t go to tournaments and smell like plague spreader zombie lol and I’m in it as a collector lol
My two favorite cards, Infernoid Deckatron and That Grass Looks Greener. Why? I love Infernoids cus I just love sending a bunch of shit to the grave all at once and boy this archtype has gone through so much but at the very least it's a deck that continues to be able to come back and do what it does best, vomit Infernoids right into the graveyard, confuse people and occassionally contend as a rogue deck strategy catching people off guard.
There is a card in the game currently called Dimension Shifter which prevents some types of hand traps from activating. Because of the wording of Mulcharmy Purulia it is able to be activated while Dimension Shifter is in play.
@@cfo101-YGO yeah when I said “when is either better?” I meant when is it better to discard vs when is it better to “send from hand to GY” I didn’t know about dimension shifter so that makes sense why discard was better in that scenario
as much as people hated maxx c being unbalanced, I think maltchummy is a great answer for balancing maxx c in order to deal with combo decks that ends with impossible to break boards
I was really close to running it but narrowly left it out. Didnt want to have to eat the normal summon but with the bonus from emperor it would definitely work
Definitely think the card could be a little overhyped, especially considering it hasnt been seeing much play in the OCG from what I can tell. Not something I would drop $200 on a playset for, but it wouldn't surprise me if it sees a good bit of play in TCG side decks.
@@cfo101-YGO OCG still got Maxx C. So no reason to play this at all. But Mulcharmy does not even come close to it. Pretty much nobody wants to go second. And even if or when they lost the first Game and put it in from Side Deck. It still means you have to have this card in your Starting hand. Every time else this card does nothing. And on top of that. Most Summons do not come from the Hand. Way more Extra Deck, Deck and Graveyard. Sure there are 1 or 2 summons from the hand here and there, but overall not enough to make this card playable.
Ive got the same thought as you more or less. If the best deck in the meta is churning through hand special summons then it has the potential to be a fantastic going second side card but depending on the meta it could easily do nothing. I am interested to see what the rest of the archetype does however. Maybe in the future it will be an overall better card from that but who knows

Maxx C will be banned in worlds so i don’t know why your comparing this card to maxx C in that regard, when that card is activated it is literally impossible to go negative from it, literally every big deck in this format normals and specials from hand some less than others but they all do it someway shape or form, card advantage is the biggest possible advantage in yugioh this card is amazing
Darkfluid Terahertz is a great going first and second monster, you send Desavewurm to the gy which is a S/T negate, then on the opponent's turn you can send Aggregator for a targeted monster negate, 2 negates on it's own. It also has (indirect) protection from destruction if you already have Firewall Defenser in the gy, which banishes itself to protect him, or chain his effect to Raigeki/LR and send Defenser to gy.
If konami would have put an ARCHETYPE RESTRICTION SUMMON for the rest of the turn or until the END PHASE of the next turn in every snake card😅................. F*ck priority lore archetypes
1:18 even though snake eyes is still prevalent, it has competition overseas, now here in the tcg, things are sad, tenpai failed here and snake eyes is dominating, if I have to choose, I prefer playing with maxx c in play and having more decks to play against other decks instead of just snake eyes and one guy running labrynth
the problem with Snakes is that it's too resilient. Much like Tear, the only real way to bring it down is to just literally limit every card in the archetype. And when you have to do that, you've gone too far with an archetype. They don't need to keep doing that.
In all honesty Yu-Gi-Oh is at a point where it needs a reboot. The game is fundamentally broken and Konami shows they have zero idea on how to keep it's player base. Top players are just quitting the game because of the terrible prizes like seriously all they get is a switch and a mat. and of course the pricing problem even a rogue strategy can cost a little over 100$ and actually competitive threats can get close to 1000$. And with how bizarre they can get with reprinting (seriously why are we getting a reprint of light of destruction?) Stores have just decided to stop selling the products due to them not selling well. I love this game but it just gets worse and worse every single day.
So I am going to say it. Any game that creates a ban list has already fucked up because in order to create a ban list it means the company made the game unplayable. A ban list should not exist at all unless you admit you fucked up and screwed up the game with the cards and in that case then you shouldn't have released the cards in the first place. If a company can not test their products before release then the company can not be used at all. Konami has hundreds of AIs that play the game and if they can't play the game with the cards to see how overly broken the decks are then that is evidence the company has no self accountability and should be avoided at all costs.

I understand where you are getting at, and maybe improved card design would make a smaller banlist, but the existence of one in Yu-Gi-Oh! Is part of what makes the game interesting. You never know when an old card might become broken with new support, and other cards might be broken at multiple copies but just fine at 3. No banlist at all would give them no incentive to push the boundaries of card design, but I do understand your point
There's no such thing as a balanced game. Not a single gaming medium has managed it. Table Top, console, cards, etc. Any game today that involves competitors have things that are banned. The problem is that they want to make something bombastic to sell cards but in doing so they start power creep. And power creep is what creates ban lists.
Nah just put Vanity's Emptiness to limited to give rogue decks help stop meta combo decks. Hell, maybe even Maxx C to 1 too although I am torn on that one.
I think the issue with Maxx C is that it would basically be in 100% of decks and just feel even worse when you get the one of dropped on you. Too annoying IMO, although not being able to have it happen two turns in a row would help
@@cfo101-YGO It is an imperfect solution with drawbacks, but personally, I would prefer a format with more viable archetypes at the cost of adding more staple cards at this point
ngl tear was played way more then this but atleast the deck wasn't as annoying or stupid as snake eyes with tear you just need to mill fuse repeat and then the occasional xyz or link to help out but snake eys you have to sit through an entire end broad of like 20 to 30 mins of comboing
Thing is... Even the mirror match of tier was better, since the Ichizu cards milled in both decks, so you could play even if it was your opponent turn, making the game even more interesting.
I’ll just play my Ra deck get Ra’s disciple to their field and they can’t special summon shit. They can’t even link it away so unless they have a card effect than can get rid of it. No no playing for you.
This is pretty much what I do with my god card deck. I don't like Ra's disciple but so far it's one of the most effective ways to stop Snake Eyes in its tracks.
In 2002 the game got released world wide and had around 2 billion people actively playing it. There were over 200 card shops in my city alone. Schools had to make bans on kids playing it. Kids were the number 1 age range playing it even though there were around 100 million people in the tournaments. The world tournaments well they have been spotty at best and there were 178 different world tournaments for OCG and 762 TCG world tournaments do to so many people playing it. There is 1 world tournament now that hosts both OCG and TCG. No kids play the game at schools anymore. In fact nearly no one under the age of 22 even plays it anymore with the largest player base being in their 40s with no kids and basically only male people. The game doesn't even have cosplayers at conventions anymore and hasn't for over a decade. The game use to be build any random type of deck from any type of cards to make your own deck but the game has been by the deck set to dominate the duel. Its not fun anymore. To tell the truth sense pendulums were released the game's core mechanics became absolute stupid and broken in a garbage way. Hell the amount of players has been dropping rapidly. There use to be around 5 million Yugioh RU-vidrs. There are now like 50,000 card reviewers on all social media that some times talk about Yugioh. In a way the actually game is dead. It has a few thousand players who only go to tournaments but the real player base which is for fun with your friends at each others houses yea that has been dead sense 2008. Hell schools don't even ban the game anymore because no one plays it anymore in school. No one plays it at community centers. No one plays it with friends anymore. Even the for fun free games well many of them shut down because the games were not being played. Hell the free to play one on Steam gets like less than 200 people in a week at most times. The game is essentially dead. The fact that kids don't play it almost at all is solid proof the game is dead and a zombie game. Hell magic the gathering is played more by kids because there is active variation in the game play. Magic the gathering doesn't screw up the game anywhere near as bad as Yugioh does. To tell the real truth all trading card games are in dire straights but Magic The Gathering is actually doing the best out of all of them. To tell the truth I wish Duel Masters never got attacked the way it was. That was an actual good game that the other card games got scared to shit and spend $5 billion on a smear campaign of it and killed the game. Get a copy of it for Play Station 2 or watch the anime itself its bad ass and actually playable and the cards have a straight up balance to them in a really simplistic yet unique type of way. It only takes like 5 minutes to master the rules and game play and its completely balanced to where there is not 1 deck that can just dominate everything. The game is completely balanced.

Engage Zero can also be summoned using Linkage btw since it is the only non-link1 sky striker card that doesn't state "This card must be link summoned"
Lol wtf? Trying to say Neo Tempest isn't a turn 1 card is seriously clueless. It's literally what Mathmech, a highly relevant meta deck, aims to make on their own turn 1.
Another thing about the 3 way tie between the match winners is that they have to be extra linked which means you have to have a strategy to extra link which isn’t that easy to incorporate with them
