Hello, have just gone out and bought one of these, and a complete newbie to it - can you explain how the delay is added with effects pedal please? Its a lovely little demonstrator!
If memory serves me right, it is just a stereo ping pong delay with the delay time set to the same value as the arpegiator time. As the arpegiator plays the next note the delay will add the previously played note to create a kind of duo-phonic effect. Depending on the number of repeats set in the delay pedal, the tail will flow back and forth from left to right. The video was recorded with my mobile telephone, so the stereo effect does not quite come to it's right. Adding the really simple stuff to these synths opens up a world of sonic possibilities 🙂
This is only the MonoPoly and reverb, no additional sound source. A key is pressed and the hold button is activated. The overview of the synth is a bit misleading as the four levels are set to max. There is no actual sound from the oscillators, only the filter and resonance and the noise generator. To verify this, I turned down the four level controls to zero and the sound did not change.
Yes, please 😀 I was not sure, but this video made me decide on the MonoPoly. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Oy3cKslFjK4.html Later, I have watched really intriguing videos of the Poly D, so I guess at some point in time I will buy that as well.
