Alrigh Jack 👋 it's straight after that wooded section at the very beginning, go on OS maps and find the A5 at Froncysyllye in between Chirk and Llangollen, you'll see a place called Pen-Y-Graig and the byway coming from the A5 going up in a big V. The second part of the v is the cliff 👍

Hey mate 👋 to be fair, I don't use the kill switch or ignition key that much to warrant paying over £100 for if I'm being honest. At the gates I normally just stall the bike, and that doest reset it.

Ah it pissed us right off mate. We ended up unbolting the gate from the hinges, we would have lifted it off but the pin wash mushroomed. That was half way in the trail, so padlocking that was completely pointless and just unnecessary. Like you say, he hasn't taken the appropriate steps to legally close it so we just ploughed on through. There were 2 other gates in his yard padlocked but we got around them. Cheeky fucker. Ah well in dude 💪 kudos for getting out there and giving it a go all the same! Beautiful around there isn't it. How far round did you get? Yeah, you wanna be standing up atleast 90% of the time on the trails, the suspension in your knees and ankles are just as important as on the bike to soak up the bumps and holes, otherwise the bike will kick you in the arse and punt you over the bars 😂 little tip, don't stand flat footed on the pegs either, you want the back row of teeth of the peg to be under the balls of your feet, toes turned into the bike (forces you to grip the bike with your knees) , ankles and knees bent, bum back, head forward, arms up and elbows out... We call that the 'attack' position. 😉

Hi Mark, no worries! Yeah the camera flattens everything out ALOT so you have to take what you're seeing on screen with a punch of salt 😂 some trails are much worse in person! I done this route again about 4 months ago mate, the link for the route is in the video description there, it's called EXTREME ADV / A Cumbrian Adventure. The thumbnail is me in between two mossy stone walls with lake district in white letters. Let me know how you get on, and be wary of the Drunken Duck 😬😆 enjoy.

Yes mate started at Slaidburn picked Salterfell up as first lane then followed your map to Leyburn, we then headed over to Pateley bridge and back to West Yorkshire, cut a couple of loops out round Leyburn area as running out of time to get home for tea 😊

I think I have too much imposter syndrome to do dedicated 'how to' videos, in my head I'm not all that, in reality I don't think I'm all that either, but I'm flattered that you'd want riding tips from me... I must be doing something right 😆 I do talk you through some tricky sections on a few of the videos, where I'll mention my body positioning, and when to grip with the knees ect.. but it's not something I do all the time. I'll bear this in mind when I'm next out mate 👍 I'll try a bit more I formative instead of talking so much shit 😆
