This Preacher teaches the Jewish/Hebrew teaching of one of their 72 names for God and this is an example of the Psychological manipulation that is asserted by this religion of the God that Jesus said was the Devil and this Evil Preacher uses it to manipulate his Parishioners Psychologically with it to make the Parishioner feel worthless and dependent on the God he exposes to them. You see he said God provides and anyone that has seen a little baby starve to death knows God does not provide anything to anybody even a hungry starving little baby. But teaching someone this Doctrine makes them feel like if they don't go to Church and serve their or his God you will not be provided anything by God and be poor and hungry without his God. It makes you feel as though you are worthless because you, no matter how hard you work actually did not provide for yourself or your family anything his God gets all the credit for anything you have or have to eat. His God did it not you. The worst part is his God should not get any of the credit, you deserve all of the credit and that is what the real God wants. You to be proud of who you are and how hard you work and you deserve the credit for what you provide for you and your family. No matter what it is you accomplished and God made you a self determining being that determines what you become not his God of lies that steal that from you. This is slick Psychological trickery that makes you dependent on his God like a drug addict is dope and makes you fearful that you may starve without his God. he takes advantage of people that don't understand what these manipulations and lies do to you. But Jesus did.
God takes us to where we need to be. He is the determining factor in all things. Without him there is nothing and with him there is life, there is compassion, there is grace, there is love, there is hope; Life does not go on without him, Life IS him.

During this so called silent time between the writing of the old and new testaments , The feast of dedication or Hanukkah occurred as a result of the Maccabees victory over the Greek army. So yes, apparently God was very busy preserving the Jews, in preparation of the birth of their Messiah.
And you can read about that in the books of Maccabees which the majority of Christians worldwide consider part of the Bible that was included in the Greek translation called the Septuagint. The first KJV included these books and called them Apochrypha.
