Hello RU-vidr, today I’m glad to share my new second homemade lathes. I do happy to make a bigger size because my first lathe the size is a bit small, when milling a big plate of thick metal is not easy because the length is not enough space to milling than the plate metal I used is thin most are 10 mm thick. So I decided to make a new lathe bigger than the previous lathe. Now there is enough experience to make a new lathe also. I hope you all enjoying my new lathe.

In the old times, my work was good so I got some supplies and pay tools for my RU-vid channel. I'm thinking I should leave it or keep continue, if continue might slow project. I have income very little not enough to pay back materials and cost over expensive. Otherwise I have to finish homemade lathe first. I do need some gears for tracking carriage. Thanks again
Bro.. you need linear rails, dialed in properly! If you arent dialing in everything and inspecting it this is pointless, unless you dont care about making parts to spec.. You also need to heat treat the steel after welding it so it rests, then grind them in. You obviously have huge potential bro! But do things the correct way and things will end up much better

Nowadays I almost finish this lathe only one leaving is gears box for making threads. This lathe working not bad but it help me next project too. want making CNC machine that is under my project too but for now, I haven’t finished my handy lathe yet because I'm stuck looking for gears for the south bend I exactly do need these gears, if I can make these it means I can make threads or bolts and nuts. I found this gear on Amazon but don't know how can pay or shipping here. That's my problem.

Thank you Stereo I will try my best, I can see something went wrong between the spindle and pulley, not fick together when I do test 16mm drill bid on thick metal so I to update key way on spindle and pulley.

Thanks, I have done some of my machines because cutting the slider worked great with the big pieces thick metal. Now a bit old so I will build and upgrade new one soon

Nowadays I Rebuild homemade drill press and add two pulleys to the motor and spindle this is much better than the previous time used the motor and chuck directly. Does anyone know any independent shop where I can take my Lexus to have both the rear door actuators replaced with reasonable cost? Dealer is charging so much.

But the problem with my next step is the menu of the gearbox for tracking South Bend. I tried looking here nothing, so I'm looking at Amazon I found it but I don't how to get especially for paying.
