Wow, I don’t believe it! Did you record this tonight? Were you by any chance flying in ZD575 - callsign SHF262 - at 92 knots and at around 1000ft? If so - I actually heard and saw you from near Brixton!! I also tracked your flight path up the Thames on FR24.
@@noisytwit ah no worries mate 😁 there was a very loud wokka doing the rounds around two hours ago - seemingly following a similar route to what you chaps took here! Back when you had your own flight, did you egress from Benson? Tonights bird was out from there.
And this is precisely why drones should not be flown in the Lake District..........These guys can come through anytime, without notice. And have been doing so for decades......
How was your final score? Did you actually hit the boats? I watched the tac-view of my playthrough and it looks like my bombs hit, but I only got a 70.
On this occasion I didn't do very well, but this was a couple of years ago. I replayed the campaign recently and with the newer graphical upgrades and new radar modes it was much easier to spot and hit the boats. The radar was very early in development back on this play through. Cant remember my scores though sadly.
Amazing video!!! I've always wanted to see what it's like to fly low level up over Windermere, Dunmail Raise and Thirlmere. Interesting route via St Johns in the Vale then turning over Derwent Water and Bassenthwaite. Brilliant stuff which I'll watch many more times!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I feel that my F15 DCS flights after 8 pints of beer are pretty compatible to this 😂 Seriously though, I would sell an organ or family member to fly this for real.
Then they need the book throwing at them. It's a drone pilot's responsibility to ensure that the location is safe for flying (and yes I fly a drone) and any reasonable check of that location would show that it's not a suitable location to fly a drone during times when low level training flights might be operating.
@@webrambler88 I get what you're saying but tourist or unfamiliar with the area makes no difference. In fact, as a drone pilot, they should do even more checks before flying in a new location.
They fly over great carrs fell where a Halifax bomber crashed in WW2 on a training sortie low cloud caused them to crash , wreckage can be still seen , undercarriage and molten aluminium fused to the rocks , sad sight but still remembered people leave poppies at the site
No, it's explosive. In the event that the pilots need to eject the explosive will trigger in the canopy a fraction of a second prior to the ejection seat firing to shatter it.
i love seeing these flying over in the summer. i work in one of the pubs in Ambleside and the guests always ask where you take off from i say somewhere in Wales i think. keep up the good work love the vid
① I love the username. Does it really represents you or is it one you just came up with? ② The takeoff was quite precise. The second plane pulled up left of you, you both started rolling at the same time, and you both lifted off at the same time.
Was on 20 Sqn Jaguars at Brüggen, I used to love the sound of the 104 engines on start up - the low rumbling noise that rose in pitch as the engine was spooling up before it petered out. Never managed to find the sound on RU-vid anywhere.
Saw this and absolutely had to visit the area in a flight sim and look up pictures, beautiful place :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QzN-2D9NARk.html Much respect to you guys.
Are you a pilot ? Please can you post some more Eurofighter or Hawk videos, I love the aircraft but I'm sadly living in a country that has no jets. Are you still in service with the RAF ?
I can't think what the Red Arrows are going to replace this with as it's just a perfect all round aircraft for them, both technically and aesthetically. Today's jets are so ugly with no character, just flying computers. Gone are the Phantom, Buccaneer, Jaguar and the Hawk won't be far behind and now we have the soulless Typhoon and F-35's
How the lovley after burner of the typhoon and the vtol f35 yes the older one's are nice but these are not soulless all with their character did the phantom or jaguar do vtol? no only the harrier which is not in service but the f35 is still just stating my opinion by the way
