I’ve worn packers most of my teen and adult life while working on ranches. I’m 50 now. I still have a pair from my teen years. The heel is weighted to balance a rider, as well it extends past a bit as a spur rest. If the heel was straight down the spur would be quite uncomfortable. These are horseman boots for training rank colts. I never thought these leathers would become fashionable. Strange times.

Looks pretty, but do they have a leather version of similar shoe? I know during the 90's, they made premium version of the same thing, but now it's all cheap budget shoes...and inferior quality. But I really like how it looks. Thank you for posting this review.

Its not really comfortable. quite hard inside...feels like a puma high top after 1 year of use...also not genuine leather...But yeah if you getting it dirt cheap its fine...if you want something quality then do not buy
