I do play small noir I'm just really unlucky and usually go second. Purrely has a lot of good going second xyz monsters like beauty and happiness to otk or break apart boards, so baby noir is more of a backup plan for this deck in my mind. The games in this video all had delicious memory in them which gives us access to plump who can set up a much better big noir.
I think in the first duel you should've gone with triple sleepy memory with my friend's effect that way you could've played better around maxx c cuz you could've ended on enoir with pureleap and give ur opponent one less draw
You can do that if you're afraid of Maxx C but in my experience this deck doesn't care about it too much. The biggest fear is them drawing into veiler or imperm but with the fieldspell it doesn't matter.
My plan was to pick apart at their board with purrely pretty memory so they couldn’t threaten to just beat over noir. In most matchups you don’t have to turtle so hard but with most the rda cards boasting ~3,500 to 4,000 attack didn’t have much of a choice but to stall in defense. Once noir had more thank 4,000 attack I would’ve felt comfortable putting her in attack. Thankfully the rda player took the hint and gave up since they had no way to deal with noir
Omg you're the melffy guy!! Your melffy deck was the first deck I built in MD when I started playing last year! Do you have a new list or tech options for the deck? Melffy been feeling pretty rough since beaver got limited
@@Nightwolf739 ohhhh u right!! great play then. I been studying your videos religiously trying to learn Purr! I loveee Melffy <3 It's gotten some hits but yeah I just got M1 with a new list. Keep up the videos my friend, they're super helpful!
Kash is an awkward match up for purely for sure. Going first you have a huge advantage since kash has no inherent way to out noir and they have to xyz lock themselves to really get their engine rolling. Purrely plays alright without the gy since purrely herself can xyz with spells in hand. The dangerous part is getting one of your xyz out before ariseheart has 3 materials since losing your xyz is pretty much gg with all the spells being banished. Field spell is the goat for purrely and honestly I’ve been thinking about running dark ruler not more or some sort of negation for going second since the cats are so fragile playing into a board.
This deck is kind of in the middle when it comes to bricking, usually when you do you can rely on surviving a turn with S:P and runick cards. I'm running 3 Imsety and 3 King's Sarc so 6 ways to get the engine started in 40 cards. Adding the fieldspell would help but we also don't want to clog our hand with ways to access King's Sarc since we don't want to see them once we've got our engine running. Drawing into Horus cards when you need runicks is rough. The resonator Engine is definitely a lot less consistent since I'm only playing the 3 vision resonators and 1 Crimson gaia; I don't want to run more crimson gaia since it's a really bad draw in the starting hand and bad to draw into on your opponents turn with your runicks. The list I adapted this from was running 3 Upstart and 2 Sarc but I found this hard to do since I also wanted to respect maxx c and run triple tactics talent. If we didn't have to play Maxx C minigame the deck building would be much easier. Seeing Resonators and metalfoes fusion is the best scenario since they're free discards and thin your deck if you didn't get sarc or imsety in your starting hand. I'd love recommendations to make the deck more consistent since it does feel like it's missing something but I'm just not sure what could be tech'd in here to fix that atm. Statistically speaking you're likely to find at least 1 copy of sarc or access to it through imsety in your starting hand or rough every ~7 cards in your deck.
@Nightwolf739 it's a brilliant analysis and thanks for taking the time to write such a decent and thorough response. I personally only have 3 seti and 1 hapi because drawing any other horus monster is just a brick. I can see why the resonator pack is used to get some decent synchro plays. I think naturia is a Good horus match but obviously you are doing runick horus so I don't want to suggest adding the plants and therion cards. Perhaps if you wanted to reduce the amount of bricks, you could just add some of those limited stun continuous trap and spells. Or, since you don't really have a normal summon per se, you could add a small kash engine and make it more XYZ oriented. Heck, those 2 level 4 spirit monsters could be a nice way to get out a couple of powerful and generic rank 4 xyzs which you could always turn into SP later on.
With the amount of people running Veiler I think in the first duel turn 1 it was better to draw phase summon lyly to search field spell; you already had mi amigo and wanted to be able to bait a maxx "c" to use your ash on. That way you don't brick your own ash if you have to called by an ash on mi amigo in main phase. Can be hard to navigate such good hands though.
I wish there was a way to show people’s screen lighting up on replays! I figured they didn’t have maxx c because their screen didn’t light up and I knew the hand could play through 2 handtraps so I took the greedier play. ashing my friend didn’t really matter in that situation since we already had access to sleepy so I chose to disrespect it hoping that to bait our ash. If the hand needed my friend to resolve I would’ve called by’d it and pitched ash for a purrely spell.
Hard to say with all the hits to runick on the Banlist. I’d have to say any of the runick spright variants (fur hire/live twin) or naturia are good choices though. Naturia has the most room for nonengine but a lower ceiling than fur hire.
Purrely really doesn't have a way to once it's activated on the field sadly. Purrely is a spell deck, but relies entirely on their monsters for interaction. If they set it going first pray you have duster. If you're going first and know you're playing against lab you could spin their backrow back into the deck.
I griefed really hard in the first game! I meant to grab carrot when they used traptrick to set torrential, but I got distracted and autopilot grabbed red.
bruh,, auto like auto like.. i like you content yugi ranked with spright runick fur hire... please add more content ranked with these deck. could it be reach the master ??
The deck can reach masters but it isn't the smoothest climb out there. Despite the constant hits to runick and spright this deck can still play through handtraps and break boards. the real issue this deck has is just power creep and the way Konami Japan handles their banlists. The Runick and Spright engine are strong but they can only do so much against snake eyes when konami semi's or limits all the good cards while releasing even stronger cards with no hits on the banlist. So if you like the way this deck plays I'd definitely recommend it but if you just want a fast climb, it's not the best option.
I'm learning Purrely, can i ask some questions about these games? - In the first duel, why did you spin those enemy cards, considering it left only 1 material under your Noir, thus making it no longer invulnerable to opponent effects? - In the third duel, why spin Red Zone? - At what point do you think it is safe to turn Noir to Attack position? Great videos, thank you!
I decided to spin their cards in the first duel because they were threatening my friend purrely which would’ve been really bad for me and since they had fenrir I was essentially forced to bounce it as well since they’d just banish my friend or noir face down. They likely had no way to extend since we left riseheart on the field and they didn’t place birth or start with unicorn so it seemed safe to leave noir vulnerable since I knew I could rebuild on my next turn and gain control of the game. In the 3rd duel RDA really has no way to put noir unless they run herald of the abyss which was unlikely. I bounced red hot because it would let them to chip away at the back row which we needed to get noir strong enough to beat over their giant monsters. Putting noir in attack is especially risky against this deck since noir is basically dead if they make calamity, removing our ability to spin. Unfortunately with only 1 delicious a deck with monsters that big is pretty dangerous to commit to with attacks so I was just stalling until noir was big enough to not be beaten over easily. The opponent took the hint though and just ended the duel. Stray purrely street is the goat in this deck and carries super hard, it’s worth protecting over my friend once you have an unaffected noir imo.
Wasn't too familiar with snake-eyes at the time of that duel so I wasn't sure when they could search kurikara for free. So I just sat on noir because I was afraid of using her and getting punished by kurikara and didn't want to be forced to immediately use noir again to bounce fenrir since noir would become effected. Definitely not the right play with more knowledge of snake-eyes but it definitely make the rest of the duel more intense lol
for turn 1 it's to make her untargetable since she needs 5 material to do so. With snake eye being meta I usually don't draw with big noir since they'll just search kurikara and clear our monster for free
Yes, if you summon with the trap she will return to the extra deck at the end of your next turn. So, if you have to summon noir with the trap you want to use her for disruption on the opponents turn and try and crash her next turn to recycle resources since it will trigger my friend purrely and stray purrely street. If you can't crash you get a free zeus but you want to use my friend purrely before you wipe the field.
@@lucifero_il_gatto I haven’t played ghostrick purrely before so I don’t have one to share atm. I know that it’s a little harder to pull off with only 2 purrely. I’d recommend looking up some lists from dkayed’s weekly meta tournaments since I know it’s decently popular there.
Droll destroys the deck or using ash on my friend or using infinite impermanence on purelyly don't bother using it on purely cuz it's effect is not hard once per turn
The easiest way is kaiju’s but it’s dangerous to out noir without dealing with my friend purrely and stray purrely street since it allows them to reset their hand, essentially forcing you to otk them since they can just remake noir the next turn. Cards that effect the player also work like Herald of the Abyss or Harr the Generaider boss of storms since they “force your opponent to send to the graveyard.” Cards that also don’t activate to negate work as well such as skill drain, kashtira scareclaw during battle phase, destiny hero plasma, or mirrorjade’s effect to destroy all monsters during the end phase. It’s definitely a pain to deal with noir, especially in a best of 1 format. The most generic card I recommend is underworld goddess of the closed world if your deck can accommodate it since it’s a consistent card you could access to out a tower monster.
Thank you! Personally I don't grind rank that much, I log on daily and but I stop playing when I stop having fun. Usually hover around Diamond and master 5-4
@@Nightwolf739 totally fair, you think the deck is m1 capable though? I just started playing sprunick again but was trying to see if this variant was worth running over it. It does seem more fun at the very least
@@Valnoir_ I think it can reach m1, but it definitely wouldn't be the smoothest climb. Personally I think it's stronger than runick spright because you gain more interaction and hand advantage. The biggest issue is that the runick cards are neutered in md and you have a hard time finding the ones you need going second. This issue is more apparent as well since there's so much engine you need to run you don't really have a lot of wiggle room for non-engine since we have to play the maxx c minigame of 3 maxx c, 3 ash. That being said this deck can play through a lot of disruption going first and the game will always be in your favor if you can at least set up fountain and folgo to draw 3. In most games if folgo resolves you essentially autowin since your opponent can't play through a board and 6 cards in your hand.
I LOVE THIS DECK BUT ITS in CONSISTENT,, hard to climb,, but i like it because its fun... keep update rangked bro ,, and please show the DUEL History, in opening , its consistent ??
Randomly appeared on my feed and you've inspired me to pick this deck back up post fountain limit. Absolutely loved this deck and determined to be a better pilot due to you. Bonus points for the FF14 music
I think this deck is super sleeper for it's ability to play through interruption and break boards. Not as consistent as tcg where runick is free but still competitive!
