Tony Thomas is a Christian singer/songwriter and an Instrumental composer. His musical talent was born from his faith. As a kid and a teenager he always listened to and loved music but never tried singing. He thought it was a talent, that he did not have. He was not a Christian though born in a Christian family. He was neither interested in Christian music but was keen on hearing almost all other genres of music. But after many failures in life, and finding life to be hard, by God’s Grace, he started seeking truth and believed the gospel of Jesus Christ. By faith, he started singing for the first time in his life and also started taking keyboard lessons. As a beginner, he started to sing traditional hymns and popular Christian songs. Soon he started writing his own songs. Taking music seriously he joined the Boxhill Institute of Melbourne, Australia in 2018 and successfully completed Bachelors in Music Composition.

Hi Tony -- Ian Coleman here. I am having trouble getting your messages to show up where I can reply directly to them. Sorry about that - I would have offered you some advice on your questions about your Grade 8. I am glad you took it - I have a FTCL, and I did the ASRSM grades 1-8 growing up in England. You mentioned about doing a diploma and I think of the two you mentioned you have to do one first, before you can do the other (but I am also not sure of the requirements ) however, I do know the Trinity College of Music web site might help. Also if you want to study at college or university, I can offer some advice on applications, but how old are you and where do you live, as those pieces of information will help.
