I have also made the same as you exactly same but mine has a bit problem, mine get automatically disconnect(not fully, like the rgb got off, touch not work, knob rotation don't work but light in touch sensor when i touch on them red light glow and light on Arduino also glow) and then I need to re-plug the board sometime it also don't work and need to replug, to fixing the replug button I fix a micro switch between +ve wire. is there any way to permanent fix of this problem
Hello, I have a Question. I have tried a very similar setup, but whenever I try to plug in 2 cables there will be humming/buzzing nosie. The sound will work but the noise is very loud? What can it be and how to prevent that?
This might be because of your SMPS power supply or poor grounding loop in your audio source. Try reducing the gain in amplifier board potentiometer. And make the audio cable doesn't interfere with other display or power cables.
So basically u are using your pc as a decoder.. Then amplifying each channel comming out from the pc.... Great job... But this can only give 5.1 out put if you have a pc with you....and also using aurdiuno for led was an overdoing. 😅😅
I m about to build this but I got one question. This knob is 360 degree what happened if lower the volume from monitor with mouse, I hope you understand my question
Are you aware of the Deej project? Imagine if you could have volume control over a focused window, and when there's no focused window it's master volume control. You would essentially have a volume mixer with one knob.
Can you make a 7.1 with audiophile components having 100 watts output per channel at 8 ohms? To make it interesting we can add the ESS9038Pro DAC board also in the unit. I can pay for the entire setup and your expertise.
Its better to go with ender 3 S1 pro for printing all types of materials, if you are in budget you can go with ender 3 pro neo For maximum size printing check out max version. Search for techrally in insta if need any help.
nice work. i like how you pay atention but... you need for that 5.1 amplifier few things : 1: power supply is not enough even for one chanel . you need 24v power supply and 15A minimum 2: you need some active filters there for each chanel in specialy subwoofer you will habe a big improve sound better than much home theaters 5.1
Yes, selecting a right power supply is important based on application and speaker ratings, for me 12v 5A is enough for small room you won't believe me it works really well i haven't seen any issue with it ,since its a Class D amplifier it is very power efficient, I am using only for desktop 5.1 output which has built in active filter so passive filter is not mandatory but adding it improves quality.
absolutely great project! I'm using same protection relay YX-X804 and it gives a delay when switching to battery I see you fixed that issue with buck-boost converter XL6009, but I didn't get do we need additional capacitor there or XL6009 can handle powerdrop by itelf? realy look forward to your reply, thanks!
Thank you 😊, I too tried adding capacitor at the load end still the delay cannot be fully avoided. Buck boost converter works fine but high current converters are rare, Reason for the delay in switching is due to the capacitors inside the SMPS, it can be solved by adding a load resistor at SMPS but i didn't tried it. Hope you got what you need.
@@TechRallyofficial maybe my explanation is not good problem is in delay of relay switching from power to battery, that reboots my router I don’t think adding resistor will solve it right?
First need to understand why there is delay in switching, when power goes off ther capacitor in the SMPS will discharge slowly from 12 to 0v. Your relay will be on till it reaches 5v which is the main reason for delay, basically realy operation time will not restart the router.
Hi, great video and beautifully designed volume knob. I am kind of nervous when it comes to coding and soldering parts. Is it possible that you make one sell it to me? Also getting parts from aliexpress is not easy now because of the china ban. Plz help.
Thanks for showing your interest, i really glad to sell but Aliexpress is also banned in India so I am also not able to get some parts, But still i am trying to make a better version I have plan for selling but not immediately, i will definitely let you guys know in my channel once i am ready 🙂...
@@TechRallyofficial Hey bro, thanks a lot for your video. Today i bought all the parts except the rgb ring, wasn't able to find it locally but ordered it online. Rest of the parts i assembled and managed to install the code and everything works fine, only thing i changed in the code was the volume knob direction for increasing and decreasing, as turning the knob clockwise was decreasing the volume for me. Will wait for the rgb ring to arrive and then assemble it in a junction box. Total amount costed me around 1400rs as the pro micro board (600 rs) is alone the costliest among all the parts. I know i can get the same volume controller for around 1000rs online, but there are no touch controls and rgb present in them. You just made the best wired controller. 👍🏻 Thanks once again brother.
Great Thank you so much for your support 😀.... If Aliexpress was available than it would have been much cheaper, Unfortunately it was not available for us..
@@TechRallyofficial hi, i received the rgb ring today and soldered it, its working fine. But as i said i had to change the volume code as anticlock wise was increasing the volume for me and vice versa. I was able to do a minor change in the code and the volume now works perfectly as per the knob direction. But i am unable to change the rgb animation when changing volume as it glowing in the opposite direction, if i turn the knob in clockwise direction, the rgb lights glows in anticlock wise direction. I tried changing, modifying the code but wasn't able to get the animation corrected. If you can help with this issue it would be a great favor. Thanks.
Just need to change the input in led ring, In video at 3.09 you can see D0 and D1 pins you just need to change the input other to correct the direction..
i have a ws2812 ring but it aligns the leds in the opposite direction with the code. when rotating the volume ws2812 lights up in the opposite direction of the rotation. please help me to fix it. Thanks
@@TechRallyofficial thank you bro, I have got and installed the hid library and I uploaded it successfully, good luck for the future. sorry my english is not good.😁
There are no links in the description for the parts you used to make this? Though the video mentions that such links would be in the description? Can you provide those links as a comment, maybe? Thanks. This is an awesome project.
@@TechRallyofficial Thanks. In the mean time, would it be possible to provide either a link or the specific brand name for the 100k 6 gang potentiometer you used in the video?
The one i used was not available online in India now, i brought it on aliexpress below is alternate component MASTER TYPE 100K ohm 6 gang potentiometer amzn.eu/d/bjp4KsY
@@TechRallyofficial I can't find this where I live, so I am going to do something like this - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TkIYEjRd6qc.html. Do you think this will work? Thanks.
Even small force could damage the carbon in potentiometer, its not worth the effort also volume control will be uneven. Try local amplifier shops to get. If you have access to aliexpress in your country it will be better option to get from there...
