I would like to sincerely thank everyone who subscribes to and watches these amateur videos. Your support helps the channel grow, and I hope to create more professional films over time. There are many unexplored and poorly documented places that need to be visited personally, and your support makes it possible. Please leave comments on what you would like to see in future episodes. Thank you!

great video, and the narration voice is fine. But lose the AI old man. its just so out of place in video about a monument made completely of wood and nothing but wood. wouldn't you agree?

Show how they are destroyers of the environment, and their traditions of destruction has not changed.
@Lynette-sv3ti

Actually the people of Te Pito o te Henua are not destroyers of their environment. And the continued destruction of their land is done by colonists from Chile. The land at Te Pito o te Henua is not like the other islands and atolls of the Pacific. Within the Polynesion culture to sustain the environment they placed rahui where people werent allowed to harvest or fish to allow time for replenishment, even the land would be under rahui so soil can regenerate. With all these people who have suffered, been taken as slaves, had their land and culture taken from them and then someone ignorant claims that thry are destroyers of the environment

It's true that most ancient buildings look good in photos, but only when we look at them up close do we begin to understand what a great feat this building was.

Most vision is NOT Göbekli Tepe. Stock Greek and Roman vision mixed up at random not related to the drab earnest narration. Rubbish.
@EarthEpicJourney
@EarthEpicJourney 8 месяцев назад
Unfortunately, the site itself is interesting due to its date of origin, but the number of good photos, and any photos at all, is limited, which makes it difficult to produce good material. Göbekli Tepe is not a large building that impresses when you look at it, but this place is astounding due to its longevity and forces us to rethink our history. Maybe in the future, if the channel develops, we will be able to record everything we need ourselves, but for now, we can inform you about great places on our planet, using existing materials.

Why do you call all old structures as temples? Can they only be religious?
@EarthEpicJourney
@EarthEpicJourney 8 месяцев назад
Your question raises a very important point in the field of archaeology and history. Indeed, not all ancient structures should be automatically classified as temples or religious sites. The tendency to interpret old structures as temples or religious sites might stem from several factors: Historical Bias: In the past, many archaeologists operated under the assumption that complex structures in ancient societies were likely religious in nature. This was partly influenced by the significant role religion played in documented historical societies. Preservation of Sacred Sites: Religious or sacred structures were often built with more durable materials and more elaborate designs, making them more likely to survive through the ages. This can create a selection bias in what we discover and study. Lack of Written Records: For many ancient civilizations, there is a scarcity of written records explaining the purpose of these structures. Without these records, archaeologists must rely on physical evidence, which can be open to interpretation. Cultural Interpretations: The interpretation of ancient structures can be influenced by the cultural and personal biases of the researchers. Different societies may have used similar structures for a variety of purposes - religious, communal, residential, or even as observatories.

@@EarthEpicJourney Thank you for your prompt and detailed response. I find academics don't like to see their theories upset. It reminds me of Thompson and his Mayan interpretations which were all shown to be guess work by David Stewart when he interpreted them accurately.

Obviously the site is a sign of a civilization. How can a civilization predate itself. How can it be known that a civilization that hasn't been seen/found yet may predate this site.
@EarthEpicJourney
@EarthEpicJourney 8 месяцев назад
Our science was based on the belief that the first civilization was Sumer, but this discovery somewhat challenges that thesis. According to previous information, at the time this building was constructed, people had not yet settled down. This implies that our earlier assumptions were slightly off, and I still need to search for information about our beginnings
