Last time I visited San Francisco I had to step over numerous piles of "wild yeast." I haven't been back.

Be prepared before you head up the Mist Trail. Be in excellent shape and have hiking boots with super traction. It is slippery and has been rated one of the most dangerous hikes in the USA. But oh, the mental and visual rewards are incredible.
