@@MoonTea-ko6qr do not remove the torx screws when removing the lock, these are what hold the hook boxes to the rail, if they fall in it's a nightmare to get out and that's if you can 😳
@@MoonTea-ko6qr overtime the cases can fail or the centre gearbox spring goes loose and this effects the spring back motion to hold the hooks in, send me over a video or some images and I can have a better look and even offer a replacement if required 👍 sales@dgpsuk.com
@@utube521 Hi depends on the system, sometimes you just need to change a few components or a full new kit. Please feel free to send us pictures to sales@dgpsuk.com 😊👍
Great videos, do you have a video on removing glass when the beading is external? - How do you remove/reinstall the glazing wedge on the inside. - if theres clips or tape how do you remove/ reinstall it Thanks again
@@jonw2570 if there is tape slice it from inside before you remove the glass externally then clean it off with a razor blade and reapply the tape as neatly as you can to the edge like before.
@@DGPSUK Thanks for the quick reply! that video helped a lot on my internal beading windows and thank you for the advice. I have 2 that are external beading and If it has security tape can you tell just by looking without removing anything as haven’t seen what it looks like before so didnt want to take beads off before finding out its stuck in and not having any new tape or clips to hand. I also saw this video - m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4i3wX9kYJmM.html&pp=2AESkAIB Which helped show the glazing wedges install. To remove them do you just pry them out, remove glass then reinstall once new glass is in as shown in that video. Thanks again!
@@famdegroot1988 Hi, this can be achieved by adjusting the hinges, send an image of you hinge if the following video doesn't help .. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MhkPsMDuwaI.htmlsi=tEvo26kmvDLelAXC

@@kevd7893 Thank you 😊 could you email across an image of the old handle to sales@dgpsuk.com I'm pretty sure this would suit though... www.double-glazing-parts-spares.co.uk/HOPPE-Birmingham-92PZ-UPVC-Door-Handle
Thanks for the video, I think the gearbox of my tilt window is broken. On the outside one of the small metal plates of the gearbox has broken off and it won't turn well anymore. Should I take it out and replace?
@@DGPSUK @thanks the vid! I am trying to get the cover plate of because it is not only fixed with screws but also with plastic parts connected to the backend.. A bit weird. The model is a Roto MV600. Also noticed the cams don't respond well to the gearbox anymore.
