Just looks and screams cheap to me. For that kinda money a stainless steel Oris or Christopher Ward would draw me in. Never got the painted gold thing, you'd be as well with a gold Sekonda.
I think that the seagull did a better job removing the GENuine leather and the bezel but people willing to pay for the story and the brand name...😅🤔 Thank you for the amazing vedio who ever reads that message may have a great day filled with health, happiness& success ❤
Ive found I didnt get the stated 40hrs of power reserve with the Sugess. I would wind it, the spring would feel tight, and 5 or 6 hours later in the day,the movement would run out of energy. What could be wrong?
Why have some uK people started pronouncing the word "Homage" the American way? British pronunciation is "Hom-idge" not "Hom-marge". Whatever next, cookies and jelly.
From two feet away, they are indistinguishable. Practically, nobody is familiar with that particular limited edition Breitling model. They are both very beautiful.
For me, the Sugess or DOXA watches with the old Swiss Venus 175 upgraded jewels movement is a much better buy. Why would you waste your hard earned money for something that actually is dollar for dollar a better buy? i can not find Breitling to be such a great deal these days. Each to their own. But Sugess is a Swiss purchased movement made in China and they do have other designs in the ST movements. I appreciate your honest evaluation.
Dont have a Longines yet and was looking at a blue Sub Mariner, then saw this one and pulled the trigger earlier today on it. You can't beat the value for sure.
The Sugess copy is currently available for less than £100! The Deus is obviously special, but is it 45x more special? I'm not sure why the top brands don't go after copies like this, for one thing their existence proves that watches like the Deus are way overpriced.
Strange, why does some bluesy L3.742.3.96.7 came with polished gold centre links while yours is brushed? Link: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ixmdCUpNEpw.html
Bought the Cadisen as I prefer the square pushers and it is the newer swan neck version. Great watch, had no clue that there was a Breitling model in the same flavour.
yes I have one of these as well - I also prefer the square pushers but also the filleted sides of the case go that extra step. I also didn't know it was a homage to a Breitling, I actually thought it was another take on the seagull 1963 chrono. The Cadisen is a nice watch though with its domed AR coated crystal and cheaper than the Sugess.
My two high value ones are kept in a safe and insured separately. The rest are insured under the house insurance. I have bought and sold hundreds of watches, and sent them and received them by post, nationally and internationally. Never had a problem yet.
An affordable watch snob in a sugess top chronometer video argued to me once that it is impossible to be an homage because all wrist watches are homaging the first one, santos dumont. Brainfart much
As a watches fan, I think brands such a Breitling, Tag Heuer, or Longines, even their watches are great, are very overpriced, they are not investment watches, I'd understand paying 10K for a Rolex as its value will at least remain constant or probably increase with time but a Breitling is more like a car, it loses 30% the moment you've closed the door of the shop. Sugess watches are excellent in terms of what you get for what you pay. OK it's an homage, but which brand doesn't have homages or "inspired models" ?
That Swiss con-art job is a bland, faded looking rip-off of the proud Chinese Sugess original! AND Breitling does NOT have a goose-neck fine regulator! Breitling should be ASHAMED to charge 8-1/2 thousand dollars for this blatant copycat piece of technical inferiority! YES, they jacked up prices, since you posted this video, as I have the web-site up with USA prices right now! NO WAY would I ever spend this much on a cheaply made, sub-quality, rubbish Swiss watch, when I can get a good, reliable, original Chinese watch for UNDER $159.99!
Hi. Nice video! I also did not know of the Breitling model, and to me the Sugess was an original design. Anyway, the build quality of Sugess, considering the price, is stunning. I bought a Sugess Moonphase Master Automatic and it is beautiful!
The interviewer doesn't appear to actually be in the shop for the beginning. The editing feels off, and the lines around his head indicated the background is a filter. Am I wrong? : )
You are absolutely right! And you're the first person to notice (or to say anything anyway) 😄. So we had a 2 camera setup for the interview, and everything seemed to go fine - until we returned home and I found that I was COMPLETELY out of focus, whilst the background was sharp 🙄. It was impractical for us to go back, so I took a snapshot of the background (before I sat down), added some blur, then re-filmed my parts in my studio, word for word, against a green screen. Not perfect, but it works - mostly... I still amaze myself that after many years of making films and videos, that I still mess up....😄👍
I just came across this as it was an attractive looking watch. I didn't really know that this was a homage to Breitling. Ultimately, I'm not spending thousands of pounds on a watch design when I can get a cheaper alternative instead. It's like the whole iPhone vs Android phone comparisons. iPhones are known to be very expensive but you can get a Samsung/Huawei phone that does the same thing (if not more) for a cheaper price. You're just really paying extra for the brand name. Even the build quality are near identical. Sugess looks right for me. It seems to be extremely well made using a movement with a great and reputable history.
