I use Simonize in the Yellow can. It's a brutal workout. But! well worth the work. The trick to using Simonize in the Yellow can is to use (3) different pieces of Cheese Cloth, to take off the wax. Use three different Cheese cloths. First one takes off the first wet fresh wax. The second one emoves even more wax. & the third Cheese Cloth will buff & shine your paint like No -Other. After the first cheese cloth stats to get dirty, you disregard it. & the second cheese cloth becomes the first rub-off rag. & so forth. The third Cheese cloth is Always your polish / buffer rag.
1. Dragging Dirt and Contaminants Upward:The lower parts of the car, like the wheels, lower panels, and undercarriage, tend to accumulate more dirt, grime, and brake dust. If you start rinsing from the bottom, you risk dragging these contaminants upwards, spreading dirt from the dirtiest areas back onto the cleaner, upper parts of the vehicle.This can undo the cleaning you've already done, requiring more rinsing and potentially more soap to achieve a thorough clean.2. Pushing Dirt Back Down on Already Cleaned Panels:When you rinse from the bottom up, any dirt and foam that you lift off the lower parts can be pushed back down onto panels you have already cleaned. This means that contaminants can settle back onto surfaces that have just been rinsed, making the cleaning process less efficient and possibly leading to streaks and spots that are difficult to remove.
I remember TCutting my dads car (by hand) as a punishment. Frikkin nightmare. I still use it today though, it's better than the designer brands I've used in my opinion.
I think Pre-wash is a self-deluded con at this point. I almost got pulled onto the bandwagon until I started looking at the costs. £30 for the pre wash fluid, £50 for the good snow foam bottle, maybe £20 for the quick release adaptor, better if you have a short gun so £70 for that, and the nozzles, £10. Then I thought, I'm washing my car. It doesn't matter if you pre-wash or not, your car will be just as clean after you wash it than if you didn't pre-wash it, so what's the point? It all sounds a bit ridiculous.

The angle of the panel has a marked affect on the dispersal of the water. You really need to use a panel that is flat and angled down so that all the waxes are being treated equally.

These look like a decent investment. Good for cleaning the tyres and also dressing them. Like the fact the hose goes round the back tyres without getting stuck, handy.
I wasnt able to make it this year Specky but should be there next year didnt look like there was as many stalls as last year how was the casino on Saturday night messy as always lol all the best top man.

Great (idea for and) video. 👌 "Less footfall" is a bit worrying for the future of the event. Do you know attendance numbers? I had a thought prior to this year's event, connected to the comment here, and in your (and Paul's) podcast. Maybe name badges would be a good idea, for visitors as well as people showing. Helpful for both sides when it comes to striking up a conversation. Connected to that, did my eyes deceive me, or was that Kelly Harris?😯
Good to see you back mate. The size of that turbo on the r35 gtr 😮 first time I have seen a lagging pad on a flange in an engine bay, must get pretty hot. The Angel wax day sounds good you should take John up on that offer, I was gutted I missed a tour of them an infinity wax when Rab and the guys from TCB went earlier this year.
