Hi! We are The Petersens, an American roots music band based out of Branson, Missouri. The band is made up of four siblings (Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne), our mom Karen, and dear friend Emmett Franz.
We love that we get to share our music online, with people all over the world! We are surrounded by the Ozark mountains and venues you see in our videos, and hold shows here in Branson throughout the year.

I just keep coming back to this song. I love how The Petersens take an iconic song and make it their own. Their arrangements are amazing. And, Julianne's vocals here are perfect for this song. As others have mentioned, the mandolin sounds great as do the harmonies from Ellen and Katie. I grew up listening to Bob Dylan and, to me, this is just a perfect cover of his song.
Can you do Oh what a friend we have in Jesus or You're precious to me or even the best You are my hiding place??? Pleaase, I've been on your concert in Germany and wished you had the last option as a song, I've lost father and wished I could hear it from you
Julianne confidently driving the rhythm! (No dimples and eye rolling, or big sister to the rescue). I was not expecting la-la-la in this particular song, but the vocal harmony was great. I especially like how Katie's vocals float on top. The dobro entrance was cool. Matt's touch on the guitar excellent. Just my favourite bits.
Sweet young lady, sing from the diaphragm like your big sister your throat will follow. Let those beautiful vocal chords God gave you make a beautiful sound! Beautiful ladies!!!
Quite an amazement to watch the three sisters sing their way to the crawdad hole and harmonize so beautifully. Their joy to sing and play together is infectious. Just great !
Traduire du texte avec votre appareil photo The song takes you on a journey through the emotions of the heart... It’s really very beautiful! Perfect. Congratulations Katie, you are full of talents.
wow 3:28 the original song didn't have a violin solo. Katie must have written solo. Congrats to her. Everyone was great, wonderful singing Ellen. you are also blessed with a wonderful baby. have a great weekend.
another great video and song, just a little criticism of the cables that spoil the shot a bit, next time stretch them forward and mask them a little or raise the camera slightly
