I love this positive video on this type of surgery. It is very helpful. I have mine scheduled in 2 weeks and I’m trying not to freak out. As terrified as I am, I’m also ready to go back MY normal. My quality of life is not the same. I’ve started to self isolate only because I don’t feel like myself and I’m ready to just be me again. This video helped tremendously to ease my anxiety. And you gave great tips on how to try and help your body adjust to the temporary pain and how to function during the healing. Ty!❤
Hello! I just had my surgery two weeks ago. It was scary for me because I've never had surgery before. This was my first time. But don't be scared. It wasn't that bad. I thought recovery was going to be painful, but mine wasn't too bad. Like the video says, the hardest part in recovery was getting up off the bed, and getting back on the bed. But once you're up. No pain. Once you're lying down in bed, as long as I laid on my back. There was no pain. Once thing I can say that was the most painful for me, was that I had a slight cough here and there for the first week. Each cough was PAINFUL. I just wanted to cry each time I coughed. But like I said, it was only like one cough here. One cough there during the day. Anyways, good luck on your surgery. You'll do fine. Since I've had my surgery, I've heard that its a very, very common procedure for women. Good luck and speedy recovery to you!
Thank you so much h for this video and for sharing. I’m terrified to go through this surgery in a couple of months. I have 6 fibroids and a belly that looks at least 4 months pregnant. I’ve been so hungry lately so I’ve put on some pounds too. Did u have a laparoscopic surgery?
Look you do not need to undergo surgery Just go to the herbal Market and Buy Agbara Fibroid Remover and use it for 3 weeks , No matter the size of that Fibroid it will shrink completely and it will never come back.. This Natural herbal medication is a life saver for women who are suffering from Fibroid, Cyst, and other infertility infections.
Thankyou for including so much detail. As an Autistic woman, the detail is exactly what I needed to feel comfortable, and I feel awkward asking for it. I’m booked in for 2 weeks time for a robotic laparoscopic total hysterectomy. I have a lot of stairs at home, so that, and constipation are what now worry me. I don’t know what symptoms my fibroids are giving me, other than non-stop periods and incontinence, so I will be interested to find out what changes afterwards.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. There aren’t many videos out there whith such detail. I have my surgery in a week and was looking for a video that gave helpful information. This helped a great deal. God bless you!
How is your Fibroid and your surgery process going till Now?? You need Agbara Fibroid Remover to completely removed those Fibroid and prevent them not to regrow again
WOW your presentation is a 1st to mention the joint pain and fatigue. I have been treated for sereonegative RA while being followed for ovarian cysts. Hope the hysterectomy will relieve the pain
I had 9 surgeries in my life and to be honest I been very scared to have this Hysterectomy, but after hearing your video I am more confident that everything will be fine. I have joint pain. Backaches and menorragia at least 3 times a month. I have several fobroids scattered around so I was a little sad my husband and I tried to get pregnant and had 2 missed carriages, which I know now it was the fibroids he and I have kids but it was still a desire we had to have another baby 😢😢 anyways I am grateful to you for this video.
What worsen (FIBROIDS) is the fact that you don't know if there is a herbal cure for it yet, I shrunk my multiple fibroids after using (Dr ALUDA) herbal medicine on RU-vid.✅🎉
Thank you for this video. I’m scheduled for an abdominal hysterectomy December 20. I hope that I can reach out afterwards if I have any questions. God bless you. Praying for your continued healing.
This is such a great detailed video. Over 80% of your story prior to surgery is me. Listening to your experience is great for any woman going through this procedure. Thank you, hope you’re doing well a year later. ❤
Wonderful video tysm for sharing. My surgery is in early January and I’m nervous. I have no help at home so I’ll be doing this alone. I’m 60 years old and I’m anxious for this to be over and done.
@robinsummers7928 sending positive energy your way and I hope you are doing well. I hope someone was able to help you at least once during your recovery. If not, you are strong and awesome! *I am two weeks post op.
Hi thank you for sharing your story...im 16 days post op from a full hysterectomy...its only now im beginning to come around and eat little portions again...i had terrible problems with gas...
I’m 3 weeks post total hysterectomy, and I’m struggling with constipation. I went 5 days after surgery but it’s been 12 days since. Nothing is working and it’s starting to cause pain, and extreme fatigue. My doctor told me to take milk of magnesia and that is not working. Anyone have any tips or suggestions?
I am 52 already my periods comes normal every 30days. My surgery this Thursday Thursday November 2, 2023. I am scared now. Three fibroid one large. hysterectomy ia the best to do? i am not sure if I should remove my ovaries. Doctor told me is upt to me. Please send wise advice, and prayers. be waiting for all your advices.
I am just seeing your post. I am having total hysterectomy and at least one very large fibroid removed.... on Nov 16 2023. Mine will be a vertical incision. Is yours the same? How have things gone?
I had a total robotic hysterectomy on Monday and it’s Thursday. I am up moving around fine. No pain. I took a shower yesterday. I only stayed overnight one night and went home. I think I over prepared. I didn’t have constipation and a small amount of bleeding from the vagina because it was a vaginally assisted hysterectomy. Drink water beforehand and buy an abdominal binder. Those are the two biggest things. You don’t need all of that stuff. It’s just unnecessary and expensive. Prepping meals is helpful.
Just had a total hysterectomy a week ago and recovering a little every day. Hope you are doing well, please let us know how you are feeling a year later.
Like all the other gorgeous ladies above, I’m grateful that you made this video and then I came across it. I enjoy your details and the list you get. I am soon to have a hysterectomy myself. My uterus is full of fibroids not just one but multiple. I have noticed some thing very different in my energy and how try as I may, I couldn’t lose weight and find the energy to want to do it. I thought I was just getting old lol and then I was weaker in my old age. (Only 50) with menopause around the corner. I had a doctor told me to just wait but I’m in pain almost every day I can’t sit for long periods of time and I can’t stand for long periods of time I started over in life and have 11 year old twins that I like to stay active with but right now they have a mom with very low energy but can’t keep up…. Hopefully my weight for a long time but when the pain got too much, I went to the doctor and it turns out that it’s all due to fibroids. Happy to find out that it wasn’t just me and can’t wait to get them taken out. Thank you again for your video.
Hello, any reason everyone is considering abdominal hysterectomy vs robotic hysterectomy? I keep reading robotic has less complications and considered minimal outpatient surgery with quick recovery time.
I started women’s health check up 18 years ago at age 40. Now in 2023 I have a 220mm fibroid🤔 only after MRI revealed that. I wonder how long it took to grow fibroid that big before a doctor suspect and order MRI??😡 Anyways total abdominal hysterectomy is due Oct11,2023 and your video helps to understand and know what to expect next. Thank you ❤
@@sahach8504 It was decided by my gynecologist. The size of the fibroid. I am not sure if my insurance Caloptima plays a role. I trust that my gynecologist is the expert and he suggested the best plan for me. What do you think? Please share with me your thoughts. Thank you
I am just one example of no robotic surgery option. Fibroid is large and surgeon can't 100% rule out cancer so he wants to take out the whole system intact. @@sahach8504
My total abdominal hysterectomy surgery is postponed to December 4, 2023 in 2 weeks. My fibroid is 13cm and a thickening of the uterus wall? While on anesthesia, a sample will be sent to the pathologist to see if I have cancer and if it spreads. Something that I am not looking forward to find out
Thank you so much for your videos... Yr story is so much like mine, only that I didn't have large fibroids... I'm exactly 6 weeks post TAH... And I'm healing just fine... Only I feel so weak in my lower back region and knees. And I'm beginning to have hot flashes... I was diagnosed with Arthritis in 2018... And fibroids was already giving me hell. And today I learn that fibroids causes joint pains.... Do I really have Arthritis ?
Just wondering - what’s the purpose of keeping ovaries in post menopausal women? They’re out of business anyway, plus, if you don’t have ovaries, you can’t get ovarian cancer. It seems that doctors prefer not to remove them tho. I’m confused.
Hi I had my abdominal hysterectomy a week ago, same fibroid was too large but you have identified by yourself, i didn't, but has same symptoms of loosing energy quickly, drowsy, limb joints pain so met a doctor and he diagnosed all this and then met a gyno for surgery,, as my heamoglobin was less, I was given iron dosage and waited for improvement around a month then the surgery was planned. Now healing at home, only worse thing I am suffering now is constipation, anal fissure kind of pain.. taking my breadth😢... Anyhow seeing your video getting a hope to see myself in good shape soon😊. Thank you for sharing ❤
Thank you for sharing your story. I had a hysterectomy two weeks ago and I can relate to so many things you mentioned. Opioids were the worst for me, I was in a fuzz for the first week. I felt so much better when I got off of them. Also the face mask was the best item to pack in the hospital bed. Again, thank you for sharing your journey.
Thank you for sharing your story. I’m scheduled to have my abdominal hysterectomy in a month and I’ve been worried about the recovery since I live alone with my beautiful fur baby. I never connected my lack of energy to my very large fibroids (4 of them) until I watched your video and read the comments; I blamed myself thinking I was just being a lazy potato. Your advice gives me confidence and I know it won’t be easy doing this alone, but it will be doable.
Thank You for shareing your exsperience it has put me at ease. I have not heard anyone mention how the area around the incision feels. I am 4 weeks post hysterectomy and inside above my incision it feels bruised and hard. If I stand to long or walk to much it gets harder and more sore. Were you also swollen above your incision. Thanks for shareing & careing🌈all the very best in your recovery and going forward🌿
