Not bad at all.... Tis the season for Battles Roy'al when quantum's are concerned. Nicely done in the last battle...... even Captain Jack woulda be proud.
This is not The Wraith class. This is the Gemini class. It's a beautiful mod... I love this design, but the weapons are totally off. As an Akira inspired design, it should have side firing torpedoes... A design drawing from The sovereign, it should have quantums. And there's no excuse for those weird phaser firing arcs. Inspired choices with your opponents though! The Marauder is one of my guilty pleasures, and the sona cruisers are secretly surprisingly badass.
@@justabritishguy4779 gamewise, I figured the AI decloaked as it did not have a target to operate off of. In theory one could construct an AI script to be more refined and detailed for cloak tactics, though I don't know how well thst would work
@@MSR-1701 I once took a long look into all the .py files for the AI including the Preprocessor. From my understanding, it's strangely complex as if you change anything for the AI it has to be changed elsewhere in another file to back it up. I came to the conclusion that a copy of the preprocessor would be needed, edited and renamed (e.g preprocessor1.py), which would then turn be need to be called on in the induvial script files such as Turn, TorpRuns, etc. I started it a few months ago, but it's such a pain to work through everything.
If I recall, from the original Star Trek, the Tholian's main weapon was them putting a web around the ship they wanted to destroy? I.E. the "Tholian Web"?
I don't understand The point of even having tholian ships if they can't spin webs. Seriously. Without the webs they're just like.... TIE fighters or something
The Gemini is a flying orgasm in a space frame LOL! I freaking love this ship. In a conversation with the mod designer, I would point out that as an Acura successor, it absolutely should also have side firing torpedoes... And with that weapons pod, honestly, should have an even higher firing rate. Regardless... I freaking love this ship ! Thank you for featuring it
I got bored after 3-4 minutes. What I see is no great skill being required, where the weapons are automatically aimed to compensate for the travel time and with essentially a perfect hit rate. The key tactic appears to involve turning continuously, like a rabbit on a spit over a fire, so that hits are distributed more evenly among the various shields and hull sections. The result is a slugfest of traded blows, a key factor for victory being basic toughness. The rabbit-on-spit turning technique gets old mighty fast. Furthermore, the kind of 'God's eye' view from outside greatly takes away from the experience of operating the ship from the position/point of view that matters most--the bridge. Of course, I'm moaning from the standpoint of an air combat aficionado, emphasis on gunnery and maneuver in 3D as viewed from the pilot's perspective. ;)
I'm definitely a big fan of yours, handsome... I'm loving going through all your bridge Commander videos. In no particular order: - please tell me those torpedoes do not say " let loose the dogs"... They're quoting general Chang from Star Trek 6, who was quoting Shakespeare's Marc Antony - so, it's: let SLIP the dogs of war - The war chant torpedoes were obviously more powerful. By not switching to them sooner against the warbird, that's what made the fight close - Not because the kron isn't clearly superior. You know the level of super duper mega trek nerds you are going to get watching bridge Commander battles are going to be exhaustively knowledgeable, nitpicky trekkies, right? 😘 Love your videos, I only nitpick things I love lol.
I don’t even feel angry if I get cheaters like this. At least the game is over quick, but it is sad to know a miserable person is on the other end. What is worse is subtle cheaters, who genuinely try to hide their wall hacks / haste. Those are the true assholes and POS of DBD
