Welcome, I'm Susan and I love creating all sorts of items. I am blessed to be able to work as an artisan for a living. For this channel I share all of my weekend crafts and hobbies that I do. I will be showing tutorials and process videos of mixed media, mini albums, handmade cards, happy planner planning, bullet journal planning, and papercrafts of all sorts. I also have a new love for junk journals and will be sharing my process with those. When I purchased several of these dies, they said they made A2 size cards, but they don't. Was very disappointed after I received them, they are bigger. Don't fit in an A2 envelope. Any suggestions?
Did you get the dies in this video? or which dies did you get? I may have some of the ones you ordered. I can go through my stash to see. If so, I would be happy to help you figure out how to use them.
@Makincraftsstudio not sure, haven't looked at them in months. I'm going to watch a few more videos and see if that helps. I remember holding them up to an A2 card and they were larger than the card.

could you tell me the size of the pages. I'm a beginner and struggling with putting the signature together . when I fold a 8 x 11 , it looks too small. I want mine to do a lot of writing so I want to use a lot of regular paper. Thank you
These are an 8 1/2 x 11 folded in half. For the ones I make with digitals I have to trim off the white edges. So they measure approx. 8x10.5. These are the typical size for journals.But there are other sizes as well. For the ones I have written in I find that it is a good space for journaling. I was journaling each day for a month and so I was able to fit one day per page.
When you do a journal swap there is no payment. I made a journal for her and she made one for me. It is just a fun way to meet other journal makers. There are all kinds of swaps, sometimes they are smaller projects or just happy mail. This is my second journal swap and I have had great swap partners both times. This swap was through the Facebook group for My Porch Prints. I can’t remember which group my first swap was through, it was several years ago.
Your junk journal is beautiful. I love them, but have never attempted to make one because I’m not sure what I would do with it. If I made one like yours I would never want to write or glue anything in it because it’s too pretty. What do you do with yours? I love all the lace, doilies and the flower appliqué on the front cover.
Thank you so much! They are hard to write in. If I receive a journal from someone it is actually harder for me to write in it versus one I made. But I’m trying to overcome that since I know the journal maker would want me to use it. The ones I receive I just put on display and flip through occasionally. They still make me very happy without using them.🙂
