Thank you for posting this, someone introduced me to Nina Simone 2001, till this day I'm still listening and watching her incredible talent. True story teller❤
This is a short and simple album that smothers one into a vast ocean of quite inexplicable emotions. The album ends in less than 34 minutes, but the stretch of the aftereffect of the album does linger far longer than one may imagine, years afterwards.
In a world of Sideral Queendom Singers: Nina Simone making the piano to speak too! There are few Singers @ this world maintaining to the audience in absolute silence while performing which is also so admirable. A true ARTIST, written with neon capital letters! Feel it!
Great virtuosity, but do we really need an up tempo from an up tempo. One can swing just as well with out a bpm that is so far out there the melody can't be fun and barely followed. Truly amazing musicianship.
Merveilleux orchestre merveilleuse musique.et moment magique.puis je suggerer à la clarinettiste de grand talent de changer de coiffeuse,je suis du metier.si mignonne et pas mise en valeur.jolie robe à fleurs pourtant.❤
💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 ... a beautiful and deep movie is more about friendship, self-discovery, and celebrating life than explicit romance. Its themes resonate beyond sexual orientation, making it a timeless exploration of the human spirit ...
Men walkin' 'long the railroad tracks Goin' someplace there's no goin' back Highway patrol choppers comin' up Over the ridge Hot soup on a campfire under the bridge Shelter line stretchin' round the corner Welcome to the new world order Families sleepin' in their cars In the southwest No home no job no peace no rest The highway is alive tonight But nobody's kiddin' nobody about Where it goes I'm sittin' down here in the campfire light Searchin' for the ghost of Tom Joad............. Now Tom said "Mom Wherever there's a cop beatin' a guy Wherever a hungry newborn baby cries Where there's a fight 'gainst the blood And hatred in the air Look for me Mom I'll be there Wherever there's somebody fightin' for A place to stand Or decent job or a helpin' hand Wherever somebody's strugglin' to be free Look in their eyes Mom you'll see me" The highway is alive tonight But nobody's kiddin' nobody about Where it goes I'm sittin' downhere in the campfire light With the ghost of old Tom Joad The highway is alive tonight But nobody's kiddin' nobody about Where it goes I'm sittin' downhere in the campfire light With the ghost of old Tom Joad..............
Το λέω για να το προσθέσετε στα time stamps της περιγραφής. Καλή Χρονιά!
The Ghost of Tom Joad, written by Bruce Springsteen, Tom Joad is a character in The Grapes of Wrath, written by John Steinbeck, about the Dust Bowl and the Oklahomans, whose farms had been foreclosed by the banks, so they headed for a new life in California, but things weren't so good there either. Do Re Mi, written by Woody Guthrie, also about the Dust Bowl and what greeted people running to Californaia for a better life
And the best cover version of The Harlem Hamfats - Weed Smoker’s Dream (1936) is this one... When femme fatale Jessica Rabbit (Roger's wife) comes on stage and performs "Why Don't You Do Right". In all movie Kathleen Turner is the speaking voice of Jessica, but the singing voice was provided by Amy Irving.
