John, thats as good as it gets, this is very good quality footage for a XL h1 well done sir.. I use a XL h1s and have been well pleased with my footage also using a Ninja V in SDI connections Its interesting you have gone for the Pro Res 422 HQ , I must up my recording to this as well as so far only used ProRes 422.
@@robertfidler3658 -3 db on gain. The video amp default adds way too much grain regardless of how light out it is. Kind of has a film grain look to it. Aperture was around 7.5, white balance auto, focus manual. I got good focus results using the focus zoom. Not so much with peaking. All other setting are default for the moment. Now if I can just get mine to trigger record to the Blade.
Mine came from Japan as well. The Japanese take very good care of their equipment. The language on mine was set to Japanese which took a few minutes to reset it.
VERY interesting instrument, the dawn of pedal steel! Here it's being played as a traditional console, not hearing any pedal changes. My understanding is that early instruments used pedal change to lock into another tuning. How far we've come! My 12 string with 7 pedals and 5 knee levers can morph into crazy stuff that I don't even know what to do with yet. BUT- with all that, very often I just lock right knee right into C6 (B6 on U-12) and have a blast with western swing! Whole different type of playing with lots of jumping around the neck and Bar bends. When men were men! And Speedy was tops!
I am at 4:55 right crowd corner walk through briefly short dark haired girl, dark tank top and jean shorts to the right of tall bearded man with white top and gray hat.
Used to see him in the 80's in Pioneer Square on off nights. He had a throw together band called BIG. Dick Powell, Mark Chapman, can't remember the rest. Think you had to weigh 300lbs to be in the band. They kicked ass..
Great video of some very talented blues artists! Thanks for sharing this for everyone who knows good music and guys who know how to play the blues so well!!
Your very welcome. The guy's are super nice too. I've been chatting with Anson since this gig and am looking forward to seeing them again. Playing with them too!
Great band, the T-Town Aces. Tom "T-Boy" Boyle is one of the finest blues guitarists anywhere. Anytime. Love this band. Les "Wild Child" White drives the bass end the band. Catch them if you can. Nothing but the best deep blues. Thanks, T-Boy. The Conway Muse just reopened.
