It’s an acquired taste. I hated spicy food as a kid and now I love it. I actually like to get a pint of Guinness every once and a while. I don’t drink much anymore so I actually have 1. So it’s not to get drunk. I like the taste. I hated coffee as a kid too now I like it. If I’ve had too many cups I’ll get a decaf because I like the taste.
I’m going to assume that those who think beer taste bad are drinking stuff like Budlight, keystone, etc. That’s not really beer. There are so many great craft beers in the States then there’s the German, Belgium, and French beers which taste amazing. It’s hard to believe they even know about these… I literally love the taste of the majority of craft beer.
First beer was Yuengling ( think that’s how that’s spelt) so Ofcs it was ass but now that I can by my own beer land shark and lime or limon y sal modelo is about as refreshing as it gets I honestly wish they made em without alcohol in them
An acquired taste can be applied to anything you don't like. If you expose yourself to the taste frequently over a short time, you will at the very least tolerate the taste.
SOME* beers taste like shit. I personally enjoy the taste of alcohol. Never been a big fan of being drunk necessarily but when it come to a nice cold beer I enjoy the taste. Even when I was 16 trying it for the first time
Beer is great i personally love me a nice ice cold Budweiser, bud lite is just heavily watered-down Bud taste gross to me, ive tried others corona, dos xx, Tecate are pretty good if you cant get a Bud lol, honestly what does he want it to taste like an apple martini?? For that drink a angry orchid

Beer is an acquired taste, this means that at first you probably won’t like it because you brain thinks it is trying to poison you. It is the same with black licorice, at first your brain thinks the bitterness of the licorice is poison, over time your brain realizes that it is fine and you can begin to enjoy the taste.
