The realization I had at the end of RDR2 is when you kill Dutch in RDR1 I can only hope that dutch thought about those words Arthur said all those years ago “John made it, the rest of us no” as John takes the final revenge on Dutch
“My life would have fucking mattered…” But it did. It mattered to Joel. The one person left in this apocalypse who loved and looked after her until his dying breath. Unconditionally.
Funny thing is if the firefly’s would of just waited till Ellie woke up and all sat down and talked Ellie probably would of convinced Joel to let her go 😅
Low honor Arthur words are pretty heavy. "You let him damn us all Dutch", like spinning out Dutch's fault. When he says "I gave you all I had" it's like "you're ungrateful, do you see how far I went for you?" or "do you understand me? My effort for you?" it's anyway a last try for asking Dutch's attention. With low honor he also tells to Dutch his responsabilities, is more distant and he also blames him. I agree more with Arthur's low honor final words
Not so fun fact: if you're playing on the playstation controller, it will vibrate with the frequency of a heartbeat that will slow down after Jin stabs his uncle. Meaning you'll know the exact moment his heart stops entirely.
Ellie got to comfortable. It’s a postapocalyptic word. You do not have the luxury to hold a grudge for long and actually have the time to make up with your loved ones eventually.
I like how yoi can tell in all the conservations with arthur and Dutch, Arthur not only acted as his brother and was the most loyal up until the end but Arthur was actually mever afraid of Dutch. The others you can tell had some sort of fear of him you saw it in their eyes, even if it was small it was there
Another great detail is that when you die with low honor the vocals are deeper and in general sounds more eerie but if you die with high honor it’s a lighter tone
