Shit will fog no matter what temp. Your beath is also humid. I had visors/saftey glasses fog up in 100f weather in construction. Ventilation will help with it or anti-fog coating.
If you pause the video at 5:40 you will see a horizontal black cylinder with a chrome cap with a series of holes in it (left side) right behind cyl 2 and in front of that fake chrome oil tank (Battery cover) that good sir is a factory tool kit. Sadly my VZ 800 doesn't have it...glad to see that you do. I think that is so cool. Didn't know if you knew or not as most folks don't.

I swear every vehicle on the road needs to follow this example, I've seen so many videos of cars, trucks, bikes, changing lanes and never check their blindspots, all they check is their mirror and never bother to turn their head

Because I can't open it for editing. 1080p 60fps runs at best performance on my computer. What settings do you use on the camera? Do you edit on it? What are you changing? @@hibyeyummy9915 you probably wont have to do that for yours. My head is just a lil too round for this helmet that when i had them on, in the inserts it still put a little too much pressure on my head making it uncomfortable for me. So to remedy this i just made the inserts a little deeper. haven't had an issue since
Hey man, I love the videos! The VZ800 is my first bike, and it rides great and feels great. However, when I tested it, I noticed that it starts to vibrate when I go over 100 km/h. Besides that, do you have any advice on it?
love the windshield! my 97 also has one! im curious if your bike came with those mirrors when you bought it or if you bought them and put them on yourself? i like the functionality of them as you can actually see a lot compared to the stock mirrors they came with
and as for the blacked out idea not a bad idea but i could go both ways, i love the red white and chrome on these bikes. all in all though it is your bike so you should do as you please. just remember if you go all black you cant go back to original paint ;)

I have a 99 suzuki marauder vz800, it goes on the road in 2 weeks.....I feel that I know my bike better now since I have been watching your videos. It's an awesome bike, mine is loud too as it has cobra pipes with no baffles lol
Started riding 3 years ago on a 2004 Honda VTX1300. I have a highway just like this near my house and I was always fine with it. The 4 lane Interstate was another story. That seemed to always be busy, lots of exits and on ramps with cars merging. Cars are driving faster and more aggressive but most of all the wind and crosswinds were freaking me out. I would get swept back and forth in my lane. Hoping I wouldn't get swept out of it. The wind from 18 wheelers would suck you toward them in the middle then push you away from them as you pass the front. Since I started on a 17 year old bike I bought from "some guy" I didn't know if every shake and vibration I felt was normal or if my bike was unstable and unsafe. I wouldn't go over 65mph and I wouldn't switch lanes. My head was shaking from buffeting, making my vision blurry and my mirrors were not adjusted right so I couldn't see behind me very well. Turning my head to look was scary as I hadn't really done that yet. I also kept looking at the ground thinking it was possible to just fall off. I'm fine now as I've taken it over 90mph so I know what wind feels like and I now trust my bike after riding it for a few seasons. Adjusted my mirrors so I can see and got comfortable turning my head to look. Although with my conversion helmet and the top flipped up, the top part acts like a sail when you turn your head making it physically harder to turn your head back to straight. I now ride like I drive because I'm a lot more comfortable, 10 to 20mph over the limit while keeping a safe distance. I still don't consider this a highway even though it technically is. A busy 3 or 4 lane Interstate with a lot of exits and onramps is the real challenge. More things to watch out for and the crosswinds are much more intense, even on a calm day. Gear up and ride safe.
Thank you! Def agree it takes alot to get used to in the beginning. The other way kn this highway breaks into a 4-5lane interstate which I'm def not tackling just yet 😅 bit by bit!
@@MotoMarauder Yup. Stay at your own pace and learn as much as you can. I watched videos of counter steering, counter balancing, how much grip do the tires have, and lots of cornering videos. It helped a lot. Stay safe and have fun.
