I might end up having to grow my future durian plants like that because I live near Sydney in Australia ) Newcastle) because 2 of mine died when they were in an unheated greenhouse when the overnight temperatures dropped down to 5°C & below. The indoor temperature stays at about 15°C overnight during winter time over here !
Yon plant ko na ka pot din , more than 10 years na hindi pa nagbunga. Baka dahil walang fertilizers akong nilalagay. Anong brand ng fertilizer oan ilalagay ko.

Hello lucia, my durian tree is only a year old and what i can tell you its growing very fast thanks to fertilizer. I'm not sure about the development of the root but i believe its also growing.
I rewatched this video again and I realised that you didn’t removed the original clay soil of the plant. Won’t this affect the root growth? In my country, all fruit trees come in that type of soil and I had a very tough time trying to remove the clay soil.
Firstly, we tried to keep the original soil in order to avoid damage of the root. Secondly, the small longan tree that we bought already had a mixture of soil in it so the soil is already good.

I put a mix up fertilizer in soils around the tree. Then, watering them with plenty of water. Let the tree grows freely, don't cut any branch for sometime. Hopefully, this method works.
Naglalagay ako ng isang halo na pataba sa mga lupa sa paligid ng puno. Pagkatapos, dinidilig ang mga ito ng maraming tubig. Hayaang malaya ang paglaki ng puno, huwag gupitin ang anumang sangay para sa anumang oras. Sana, gagana ang pamamaraang ito.

Nowadays the heat is so tough. We'll need to water the plants as often as we can and also make sure the flower pot has a hole to allow the water to come out.
