I still remember when there was so much hype when new tech pieces (both hardware and software) were announced. Nowadays, it's just meh, not that exciting, and very obvious they're just trying to make more money, get richer, rather than help improve technology and help the human society.

Well, it is the myth busters, so it has to be something flashy and for show. But if you think of each muzzle as a processsor core, then it explains nicely enough the difference between the small number of cores in a CPU versus the large amount in the GPU. Want to add something else? We can see the canvas they are shooting to as the video buffer frame from where the monitor is reading. So, Leonardo, which is representing the CPU, shots very fast. This means he has low latency, but the throughput is also low, just as a CPU. On the other hand, Leonardo GPU version, will shot at a much slower rate, but because there are lot of barrels, latency will be high, but the thoughput will be very high.
Navi Charlotte Thks for addind educational value to this video. As someone who doesn't know much abouti hardware i didnt learn anything from this video besides that cpu does piewpiewpiew 4thgrader's smiley and gpu does KABOUM.. aand art.
porteurliste Well that is the point... the cpu is fast but not designed for image rendering. The gpu is slower but very parallel and its main task is image rendering. So,both of them is awesome in its own way,but if you want to play a new game, you need a fast gpu,not a fast cpu.
Same, I’d be bricked up as soon as I saw them. And then I would work sooo hard the rest of the day. Just solid blood flow to the main vein all class. Man that would be dope
