Awesome video! I'm looking at buying a 2010 that supposedly has a bad small turbo. No details yet on how it was diagnosed waiting for an update from the seller. If it really is just the small, how easy would you say it is to just remove the small and either rebuild/replace?
Hello. I didnt understood part about transmission cooling lines, 8hp transmission different dimensions? It isnt straight fit from 6hp? Im thinking about doing e60 535d swap to 8hp70. And you are using oem cooler or bought aftermarket one?
How did you get rid of the LEVEL MALFUNCTION that always pops out in a dashboard from air suspension to spring coil replacement? Is it need to decode or delete?
If you supported the knuckle you wouldn't have to pound the bolt out to separate the upper control arm and risk damaging the threads. I've seen it happen a million times.
6hp28 is good enough, not worth the hassle for 8hp, better get x3 donor and swap on the e39, i just did on e38 complete swap to 286hp m57n2 engine with all electronics and transmission working
Just one quick question mine's an MI got the real white tires in the back.Is there anything different?I know the strut monkey deal.I'm gonna have to get the right ones for my car.But the procedure i'm assuming is the same correct
You're one-stop shop for all suspension needs and clunks with the vehicle. I own a year older than yours. Thank you, thank you. I'm just getting in to dealing with this clunking. And now I know what to do. Really appreciate it liked and subscribed.
Turned out nice and very intelligent and intricate guy but I sell parts for One series cars and try to accommodate everyone but we bumped heads 😢unfortunately and my patience has gotten short with age for issues! Nice Build
Great video, particularly your knowledge of torque specs and undercarriage positioning of jack stands in conjunction with the lift. Also, I have taken out of the top bolt of the sway bar link and found I had no control of the spindle which fell towards me. I used bungee cords to hold it up, Next time I will leave it in place as you did.
Great video, thanks! I have to do this to my 2013 next week. Parts are under way, however my is a bit more complicated since It has adaptive struts, and I do have to compress the springs.
That's a lot more work to do that, then you have to deal with the washer fluid tank and also align the fenders when you put it back together. But you do you, whatever works.
