Oh no, I just realized PBOT is a government transportation. Can the public pay for courses to get profiles. We could edit it to work for us, but your setup is neat and organized.
I’m not sure if you have a degree in instructional design. But you will change my construction administration process, but also many of my presentation processes. I appreciate you not leaving out beginner shortcuts stuff and tools. I know some of the short cuts, but I am learning so much. I appreciate all the options as well. And for someone who only learns visually and in color, all the color coding of your explanation helps me so much. I have a hard time seeing black and white text. I’m very successful as a designer but I lack a lot of the engineering mind sets type of teaching/ learning. There is always so much happening in the background and no one explains what is happening. I also learn by visual memorization but only if the text is color coded with boxes etc. Your list of what you are teaching really helps me to get a visual in my head. In a nutshell this is the only way highly visual learners can learn. Which many architects are, and certainly designers.
This is awesome! Those item type expressions are something else. Would you mind sharing those few lines of code? It'd be nice to have the whole .dgnlib since the point feature definitions already have the item tagged but I can only imagine that's not being shared.
Checkout this Bentley Series: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZRWnMytHTWU.html; also in the "out of the box" configuration, there's a good example in there. Good luck :)
Do you know how to make Bluebeam return to where you left off every time you click away from the screen? How to make the page pop up in the centered and readable view instead of the page being offset to the right or left side?
The culverts in my Hecras Model does not actually suck the water, is there a way i am to put them in as the SA2D structure Stops the water but the water eventually overflows pass the barrier How can one model such that it actually flows through the culvert instead of pass
To get rid of text box border, simply set line weight to 0.00. Hopefully this saves you the ten minutes I spent trying to google it, that brought me here while I figured it out on my own due to this video lacking that info. Just an FYI Haha! Good day!
Appreciated ❤. But please a quick question. It seems if we are asked to solve for flow rate of a 50 year return period, I don't see the return period of 50 being used in any part of the calculation. Could you kindly explain to me why ?
great video! Is there a way to select the content from CAD in Blue beam and see what layer it is on? For instance I have PDFs with hundreds of layers but I just want to see what a certain lines layer is on so I can refer to that layer in CAD bc line in CADs layer is frozen or turned off in CAD. This would make this much easier.
Thank you for putting this tutorial together. I am not sure if you’ll see this message, but I was wondering if it’s possible to model a short duration storm in SSA? I’m needing to create SBUH for a 6 month, 24 hr storm and a 6 month, 3 hr storm. I am not sure how to enter that in SSA. There doesn’t seem to be a “6-month” return period option.
Good question - for the 6 month 24 event, model the same way. I would lookup the inch rain event in your local storm water manual for a 6 month storm. For the 3 hour storm, you would need to adjust the hydrograph shape. The storm will have a much higher intensity since all that water is happening in a much shorter amount of time
Hello there, first off, amazing work thank you for the tutorial! I am wondering how do i download the odm and convert it into mp3? I keep getting an error asking me to plug in my device in order for it to be converted. any help would be appreciated!
How do you do the first step downloading mp3 from library? Mine only allows libby on android and ios not pc. On there it only downloads and stores within libby:(
As far as I know you can't download from libby. What I've been doing is playing the book on my pc while having a audio recording software on my pc recording the audio. I use Goldwave but most likely any audio software will work. You just have to make sure its recording what your pc is playing not recording from microphone. This is slightly technical but it does work and is doable. The other downside is that you have to let the book play all the way through (so i do it at night when I go to bed).
Thank you SO MUCH for how amazingly helpful this video is! I just got my MYO cards and realized I had no idea how to make any of the software work to turn my MP3's into properly tracked individual files! Off to fall down the MYO rabbit hole!
A great tutorial - a hiccup for me: when I download the MP3 from the library, it saves it as an .odm file. I can open that in Overdrive, but I can't find an mp3 file to drag into Audacity to edit. Where am I going wrong, or where to find the actual background mp3 files of the book to add into Audacity? Thanks!
Just bought a Yoto min for my daughter. This is video what I need help doing -Would be fantastic if I could do what you just did... but your talking way too fast for me ha ha -and it was way over my "tech challenged Head" (older generation mind) What is "Overdrive app" what is "Google Keep" where do I get those? Audacity? Google spread-sheet. .. It seemed very complicated for someone who has no idea what these are. Can you please do a simpler video!?? PLEASE! Maybe one step at a time -using each app, for the tech challenged.
Thanks! I probably wouldn’t recommend this method for the tech challenged :) a lot of steps and a lot of programs to learn. Check this link out instead docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1PFUgiixWHNhd7eZbo8GZyRUmyesCSDjhnZwrICb_phc/edit#gid=1732008221
I'm thinking I will get my vinyl waterproof stickers (thanks) printed from a shop, as I don't have a colour printer. Once I have the wireframes set up it should be pretty simple. Then... because there's no thing as taking a hobby too far: Stable Diffusion + Controlnet + Lora to create so sick custom label designs 🤙🤙
Overdrive/ Libby only permits browser streaming not mp3 downloads now, right? The pop up message says Mp3 is only available for older MacOs now. Any other workarounds?
Hello! I appreciate this video and it is easy to follow, it would be nice if you can upload videos about real case of rainfall-runoff with pre-/post-processing with QGIS. Many thanks
Thank you! I get it, qgis is free! I’ll see if I can put something together. In terms of the “real case” most of the work I’ve done has been determining the peak runoff and creating simple, triangular hydrograph with that as the Max flow. Is that what you’re thinking? Thx!
