OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno - An extension of the OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno Blog. Looking to give my review readers hands on gameplay previews in order to help them better weigh a potential purchase. The channel is several years old and features games I've personally played and reviewed. Built upon strong community connections that extend to social media. Trying to earn trust, and break the chain of games journalism stigma brought on by shills and sellouts.
"Multiple endings, marketplace mayhem, and a missing persons mystery. That's what 'Terminal 81' is all about. Featuring a supermarket sim with a female protagonist for hire who is trying to get to the bottom of the case's surrounding Terminal 81's missing girls this retro inspired game embodies the very elements of horror in a whodunnit kind of way. The complicated UI and controls along with a lack of sense of direction hold this title back though. That, and the menial tasks really add to the game's boredom factor. A '2 out of 5' all things considered." - Brad C. (OtakuDante), 'OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno'
"Tethered to online server access and a gated off by a mandatory user license agreement, 'V Rising' brings to the player a competent and complete MMO experience with fully fledged character customization, and castle crafting mechanics. Featuring ARPG style combat beholden to an MMO style UI. It is the ultimate Vampire experience that takes in account vampiric survival in day and night cycles wherein you can raise your castle for conquest and expansion. A solid '4 out of 5' rating only held back by a menu system that isn't as streamlined or user friendly as it could be." - Brad C. (OtakuDante), 'OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno'
If you aren't put off by a challenge, and enjoy matchmaking puzzle games then "Magical Drop VI" might just suit your fancy. Let me know what you think about? Let me know if it's something you'd play?
A new Hemorrhage/Blight/Minion build. Will be grinding the Helltides to the point of Capstone for World Tier leveling sake as suggested by @Kegz. Also shout out to Darcy for joining the chat! Btw, would you like to see what I could do build-wise with the bottom tier class, Sorcerer?
I'm just now figuring things out. I've checked out no guides, and didn't watch any videos on the season gimmicks. Went in raw. I will definitely be grinding the Hell tides more often. Got till August to make the most of the Season. Had a late start to it as well. Thanks for the tip!
Another inspired JRPG I had the privilege of reviewing. Pretty solid for a Suikoden successor!!! What do you think? I'd love to hear your opinions as well ...
"Join me as we follow the white rabbit, Tevi, on her interesting adventure!!! A solid anime Metroidvania with a unique combat system, and quirky voice acted characters!!! Boob jokes FTW!!!" - Brad C. (OtakuDante), 'OtakuDante's Gaming Inferno'
Was testing out my mic on Twitch/PS5. Had to figure out why it wasn't recording my commentary. Not the best gameplay, but I am literally stuck at this point in the playthrough.
here are some quick tips for you. 1- work more on your thumbnails its the first thing the viewer sees 2- try to edit unnecessary parts of the video it kills the watch time 3- always try to improve wish you a bright future
I do appreciate the advice. That being said thumbnails are as bad as clickbait in my opinion. I want the video to carry itself without the need for catchy titles or thumbnails. I am aware of my title falling into that category, but it was a proper analogy of the in-game situation.
@@thegaminginferno i understand but what i mean by thumbnails are not the catchy looking type youre reffering to im talking about a thumbnail that atleast gives me a reason to click on the video i mean with no offense but the only reason i clicked on the video was of curiosity so yeah
@@Ms3d-alm5rf I know what you mean, but even that is a step towards the sort of thing I mentioned. You did say thought that you clicked out of curiosity, and that is a plus as that shows I at least did something to get attention. Call me oldschool, but I still believe in oldschool business principles. Things like earning respect without playing the viewer for a fool, or not using the viewer/subscriber as a stepping stone to the spotlight, profit, or algorithm. If people find my stuff it's fine by me, if they pass it I can understand that too. It's why I try to offer something more with my channel. The community tab, for example, is something I do for those who care to stick around. Little things to keep it interesting like reviews, and song suggestions at the end of a video. I do appreciate your advice though, and appreciate you taking time to help me improve. Your advice is noted.
So ... I FAFO'd. I totally FAFO'd. I got sank, lost vital crafting components, and could not recover them, because of spawning Sharkee boss tier baddies. If you have any suggestions on ways out of this predicament I'd really appreciate it. Right now I'm up Sh*t's Creek without a paddle ...
Did some scavenging, some combat, and some quests as I continued to level up my crew. All on the way to get a bigger and better boat so I can face off against the Scuttlefish gang. Along the way met a Voodoo priestess named Mermaid, and a club owner over at the Bobber's Club ... Bob the knob xD
Game fell short of being the AA experience it could have been. Mechanically it was loose, and certain aspects of traversal/combat were less than polished. It's odd, because the game looks like it was created by a developer who knew what they were doing, and a solo dev at that ... if I'm not mistaken.
An interesting take on the Metroidvania genre with an air maintenance mechanic. As the player you control a headless body that saved a harvested head from death. By inflating the head at strategically placed air tanks you can keep it alive long enough to progress or inflate it beyond capacity to ascend, among other things. The game is very puzzle driven, and does take some thinking outside of the box to complete. Thankfully respawn points are usually close by with no need for extend repetition. Overall "Airhead" is a competent and well made indie Metroidvania with puzzle solving in mind. A solid "4 out of 5"!!! - Brad C. (OtakuDante)
I like how this game changes up the roguelike mechanics, and does it's own thing. The Asian theme is also cool. It was actually a mobile game to begin with, if I'm not mistaken. A good port to the PS5! One of those titles that slipped under a lot of gamers' radars.
A bit disappointed with this one. After seeing the trailers, and finally playing the game for review I couldn't help, but feel the game was not what it was made out to be. Definitely dated, and definitely janky.
Cool retro retro style 80's game, the gameplay and combat seem very good The opening cut scenes were really good too and nicely set the tone of the game.
A 2018 indie release hits modern consoles for a second go around! Does it deserve it? Hell yes!!! Loved this game back when I covered the PS4 version, and this does seem to have some new quality of life features under the new publisher.
Could you elaborate on the new quality of life features? I have this on PS4 but am questioning if it's worth it to double-dip and get the PS5 version. Thanks!
@@TakeTheCanoli325 I'm not 100% sure, but there's seems to be a new UI gauge system. It's nothing game changing, and I may be wrong, but it caught my attention.
