Hi, I'm Brittany Campbell & Welcome to my RU-vid Channel!! :) I'm so happy that you found my channel & I hope that you will subscribe to join this journey that I'm on.
I started making RU-vid videos while my husband was deployed in 2020 as a way to help pass the time & give me a creative outlet. Since starting my channel I've been able to capture my husbands second homecoming, our day-to-day life, and our PCS overseas to Europe (talk about good timing lolz). Now that we're in Italy I'm beyond stoked to be able to capture our adventures here along with our everyday life.
Here's a little background about me: *I'm married to my best friend & high school sweetheart :) Our little family consists of 1 cat & 1 German Shepherd *I'm from Texas & I make sure everyone knows it (Literally, I have a 'Texas Made' sign in our house) haha *I'm A D D I C T E D to Dr. Pepper, I can't stay away from it & The Office is my absolute favorite TV Show
Barilla has been an Italian brand for over 100 years, founded in Parma, it is one of the largest food multinationals in the world and is the largest producer of pasta and flour in the world. In America it owns many factories, which produce various shapes of pasta, adapted to the tastes and way of cooking pasta in America, they often use soft wheat instead of durum wheat since in your Sates you use to cook the pasta directly in the pan with the seasonings. As a good officer of the Italian Armed Forces (FF.AA) I often happen to meet your colleagues from the US Army, Navy etc etc, and from them I learned about your interpretation of Italian food, which was then personally verified in the USA, I can tell you that perhaps it is better than you as far as Italian is concerned food, contact our supermarkets, shops or open-air markets. I am sure about one thing, and I promise you, the quality will always be exceptional and of the highest quality! Kind regards
HEY YANKEE. THIS IS ALL WRONG. YOU CAN NOT COMPARE THE PRICES OF ITALIAN CIVILIAN SUPERMARKET WITH AN AMERICA MILITARY BASE. THE PRICES ON BASE ARE LOWER. COMPARE THE COMMISSARY PRICES WITH AMERICAN CIVILIAN SUPERMARKET AND SEE A WHOLE DIFFERENCE. TRY TO BE MORE HONEST. SEE YOU YANKEE.
Girl I'm obsessed with your videos! I'm so glad I found your channel! We were given our overseas listing today and Italy is on it! So we're hoping to get there! I'd love to connect if you're still there, I need all the tips and things to prepare lol
Wondering where you'd been. PCS'd was my thought. I appreciate these videos as they take time. A wealth of info for folks inbound based on my 30 years here. Ciao, MrCris orCris
Heading that way in a couple of months as the new Supervisory Integrated Prevention Chief. Thanks so much for all the helpful information Brittany! I look forward to meeting you both! Alma
I really love this video and the advice given. Me and my partner are currently in the process of him trying to reenlist in the Air Force . I’m really praying it works out. Definitely subscribing for more😭 Also, congratulations to you guys!
Just a remark: Barilla is an Italian brand that has business in the states and not the other way around? Also - you can buy non refrigerated eggs - chicken are vaccinated.
Hi. Im in Vicenza. This summer I went to London in July. Before that, I went to Istanbul, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Kaiserslautern, and Croatia. I plan to see as many Christmas markets this holiday season.
I love that everyone is not allowed to touch the produce in Italy! And in the smaller town markets, there is usually someone behind the counter with gloves handing out the produce. As for the eggs, they are fine unrefrigerated. We never refrigerated eggs in the US either until about the late 70's or early 80's. And THAT was weird at first.
A farmer told me. When you don’t wash eggs or refrigerate them when they are laid it can stay good up for months. The moment you wash them you have ti out the em in the fridge..
Exactly!!!! the eggs are simply brushed on the outside, if you wash them, the shell being very porous, because it must transpire and bring oxygen inside for the eventual chick, any liquid can easily enter and contaminate both the egg white and the yolk...
