I have never seen such a purplish screen on any laptop or PC monitor. I imagine you must have "fiddled" with your laptop's settings to make them way OFF, before making this video.
Just purchased my eos m2 and whenever I capture images they turn out a lot brighter in the playback than what I saw on the LiveView LCD when I was capturing them and I don't see anyway to control canon's "exposure simulation" on this camera.... I have found some work-arounds but i'm curious to know if you have faced the same issues with photos on this camera

I am wondering about the 2nd method... my laptop monitor does not have the choices like that.. it just has 3 different settings I can choose for color calibration and that's it. It uses Windows 8. I am going to be starting a virtual color consulting business, helping people with exterior roof, siding and trim coordination, and I am wondering, should I just get a mac computer to start off the bat, rather than getting a new montior for my laptop? It seems to me that Apple rules when it comes to anything artistic in nature but I don't know as I've never personally had one But both my sons use Apple laptops for their music producing and video making.
The EOS-M is a great little camera. I got mine to use Magic Lantern on it for video, but find I mainly use it for photography with the TTArtisans 35mm or the Canon 22mm. What’s that on your hotshoe? Is it just to give you a better grip?
I thought that I was going to use it with the magic lantern to create awesome cinematic videos but it never reached that point honestly lol. yes I love that combination the canon M and the 22m f2. That is a thumb grip just for handling improvement.
When you have pocket size camera, but you want to look like you using 5D mark II. If I were you, I wouldn't wear a neck belt, backpack, lens hood, etc. 😁
hi just bought eos m cant load the firmware 2.02 to use with ml.the ok icon is greyed out to finish the ok .it recognises the new firmware on screen.same with 2.03 .so just bought eos m with 14-45mm zoom for 130£.going get used to it for now.hi

hello, I followed your steps but it seems the calibration did not apply and also the part when i adjust the gray hues, it never worked. I cant tell the difference between the previous and the current setting or maybe it is broken, do you have ideas why this happen?
With Magic Lnatern you get focus peaking. Might be useful for your close ups. I’ve owned three EOS M ‘s. Mainly video shooter but picking up street photography. You spray and pray a lot - I like it.
What lens did you use and at what aperture? If the same lens I used u need to close the aperture a bit as u noticed I was shooting f8 to f11 and some, wide open this lense is a bit soft 👍🏻
Hi , great photography , did you have vingnetting in corners ? I have a cheap 25mm like the one you used and noticed vingnette in the corners , did you edit or x3 zoom in ? thanks for your video
it is a CCTV lens can be adapted on different camera make, I like the images quality but not the ergonomics. I put link in the description on amazon and aliexpress so feel free to pick what u want 😉
I checked my channel now, my watching time hours last 365d are only 2135, but maybe the monetization is working because I'm still uploading, that means they are waiting for me whenever I stop they will disable it 🤦🏻♂️🤣
Of course, the short answer I am shooting auto (AV), I am planing to make detailed video about my vlogging settings soon. the reason I shoot auto is to keep focusing on the content and not to confuse my self with the settings. I shoot manual settings only if I am recording in a controlled light environment but for vlogging I found auto settings are good enough 😉👍🏻

Final Update: the channel got demonetized and RU-vid Partner support answers, even though I followed the instructions and uploaded videos and posts the channel got demonetized because the watch hours dropped below 4000 hours in the last 365 days. now I will have to reapply after 30 days if the channel is eligible again. 1st Update: Unfortunately, even though I followed all RU-vid recommendation by uploading one video and one post to the community tab, my channel still got demonetized after 30 days, there is still hope as I contacted RU-vid Partner Support and they promised to try to solve this. I will update this comment once RU-vid Partner Support get back to me within 24 hours.

Thank you very much dear, I will do my best to post regularly. Health side I feel like a rock Alhamdulillah but I lost some weight due to a lifestyle change, the food is different here but it is healthier and maybe I am aging a bit 😊 thanks again and Ramadan Kareem brother 🙏🏻

I was looking at some potential new light-weight camera options for a trip to SE Asia this summer, and look who came up in the search. Loved this video, beautiful images. Also, respect for shooting in the intense heat, I've done it many times but it can be tough. Take care my friend.
