When the next word is picked a short list of next words is produced, along with scores for how good the next word is. One of the top scored words is picked (depending on the "temperature" it will be more likely to take lower scoring words) The end user never gets to see how good the scores were: that information is not presented. Seems lilke this is something to do with the problem and solution...
What a boring take on LLMs, something we all experienced. A guy known for "predicting the future of tech" talks about present problem... sheesh, anyone with a grain of experience with LLM could have the same information, nothing interesting really.
