Terrific activity for seniors. I wish they had this at mom's retirement home. I bet having the event on RU-vid was exciting for the players and spectators because their friends and relatives could watch them on.
It's a pity that every tram has been modified in some way and not one is in original condition. Otherwise, it is good to see that so many have been preserved!
Hi Jessica smith unfortunately after I finish editing I delete the videos I don’t need so I have space for new videos to keep you entertained but maybe one day in the future
I remember when the home bargains was a bus station ! At that time, all the illuminated trams were still active. I used to love the hissing sound the trolley wheel made on the wire, lost now in the pantograph days, and the bogie rattle. Its a shame there are so few heritage trams left in Blackpool, they were one of the main attractions whereas the modern ones are basically just a bus service.
Pump on the left (P1) is a wholetime appliance, pump on the right (P2) is crewed by on call firefighters. P1 has a 13.5m ladder, pump on right has a 10.5m ladder and as a second pump on a two pump station, will always be the older of the two.
